According to Steelmonkeys, 2 Days to Vegas will be released on christmas 2008.

Vinny has a problem…
He has just been released from Rickers prison after serving a three year stretch. Unfortunately, his dreams of the quiet life on the outside and seeing his girl didn't quite work out as planned…. His younger brother Tony has went and got himself into some serious trouble…

"2 Days To Vegas" is a story driven 3rd person action-adventure game. The thrill-a-minute story is crammed full of car chases, shootouts and unexpected twists, to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the game. The action is set in several major cities across the USA and takes place during an intense 48 hour period. 1 - What ever happened to this game?

After showing some unbelievable (literally unbelievable) screenshots, it's gone completely under the radar. The game seems interesting enough, but this 48 hours thing bothers me.

Does that mean they'll pull a 'Dead Rising' on us, where the 48 hours is speeded up and you have to complete the game with that timer running in the background, or is that 48 hours just a timeline without affecting the actual durance of the game?

I really can't stand games that you have to rush through because a timer's continuously ticking away, ala Dead Rising!

The pics are target renders. I remember first seeing them and thinking that it was impossible. But after seeing what developers are pulling off nowadays on next gen consoles. They may have hit the technology curve right on the button.

I think you're confusing it with Sony's game called Eight Days. Is that the game you were thinking about? It was shown a lot for a while but never any actual gameplay. Some great gunfights and a gas tanker truck that fell over and slid into a gas station. This isn't that game though.

7 - this is by far one of the prettiest games i've laid my eyes on all though i'm sure sony is working hard

on this Title ti make sure it lives up to that amazing trailer and screens they showed last year. Personally i think they can, after seeing wardevil, and KZ2 reach there target renders, this should be the game that does it next. i cant wait

No theres still some Sony fans claiming "Two Days To Vegas" is PS3 exclusive although I have run across many Sony fans that do infact get these two games mixed up.

The devs were complaining about Disc space on the 360 not too long ago and I think the devs said it was an issue they may not wan't to deal with.

We'll see...

Uh, don't put too much stock in this. The dev has been saying this for a while. First it was holiday 06' then 07' now 08' This is kind of vaporware.. Anyway, also it is only PC at the moment but console versions are supposedly planned. Oh and some pics are indeed in-game screens. But probably only PC.

8 days and getaway are still under the radar, I'm guessing as various sites list those to as 08'. No doubt they will be seen again.

Second, this game is going to be awesome, because i read that it'll have Las Vegas and NYC. Plus, free-roaming, i can just imagine how awesome it'll be with these graphics.
