2K Sports announces Prizefighter

Don King Presents: Prizefighter has been officially announced as a new 2K Sports franchise. The game will be coming to the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo DS.

2 - Well, I know PS3 owners got a sharp kick in the nuts.

Either way, congrats 360, Wii and I guess DS owners, hope they do boxing justice.

I doubt the next Fight Night will even exist.

4 - I'll keep my eye on this one

Its too bad the EA Chicago has been done in. I've waiting for a new Fight Night (which has been the best EA Sports title in years imo). Now, there's no telling how/when the next Fight Night will turn out. Hopefully, this new 2K offering will offer a similar experience. If it doesn't control anywhere close to Fight Night TPC, then I'm not sure that I will be able to play it.

I don't know how well this would work... I liked the rocky games but that was mostly due to the fact that the Rocky movies are my favorite movies of all time and on a technical level the games suck... but if they take a more realistic approach a la Fight Night... then we may have a gem on our hands.
