Fatal Inertia better on PS3

KOEI has told Eurogamer that futuristic racer Fatal Inertia will be a better game on PS3.

The company is spending more time on it after the 360 version failed to ignite critical fuses when it was released in September. According to a spokesperson for the publisher, they're polishing up technical areas and putting together a more enticing demo than Live customers were treated to.

New content is a possibility, too, although nothing concrete is known at this point.

agreed..."better" version of a shat game...can't wait...

it was more than the poor draw distance and object popping that made this game suck the big one on the 360...its overall a failure, and a half-assed port of WipeOut pulse in HD is going to wipe the floor with it...let alone the next full PS3 specific version of wipeout...

21 - Never have I deleted a demo faster from my hard drive

I downloaded the FI demo when it was released on XBL and I stopped playing after the first race. Went to the blades and deleted it as fast as I could. This game is horrible. A Wipeout wanna be that will never be.

you cant make Poo into a gem... it flopped on the 360 and it will get left behind and not even looked at in the shadow of of wipeout. please just scrap this game and leqave it be. it's been in dev for PS3 3 years come it's 2008 release. next month we will all be on wipeout and will be enjoying the true gem of futuristc racing.

I won't dismiss this totally as I haven't even played it yet. But Koei has a big-ass uphill struggle just competing with Wipeout HD........let alone the proper new Wipeout made with the PS3's specs they're working on which IGN has mentioned could come out late 2008!

Ok I dont usually comment on articles like this but come on, The game flops on 360 so they say it will be better on PS3? How exactly is goin to get unsh1tty by porting it? Fact is if you cant sell a game to an xbot (apparently we'll buy anything) good luck selling it to a PS3er (would rather watch a movie). Nice jobe KOEI! Don't bother to patch the POS game on the 360 and just work on making a crappy port to the PS3. As far as I'm concern KOEI can never make another game again and I won't miss them. Like xboxer said, if this game didn't sell on the 360 it isn't going to sell on the PS3, especially with competition from Wipeout. The 360 doesn't have a futuristic racer so that was your best shot.. and your shot missed by a mile.
