Petition to get split-screen added to lan and online in Cod 4

Infinity ward the developer of Call of duty 4 decided to put split-screen in local games only, excluding lan and online. To top things off you can only play 9 the 16 maps in local split-screen. So offline players are getting screwed out of half of the multi-player game. Sign the petition to show your support.

GET THE DAMN COD4 SERVERS TO WORK!!!

It takes foreeeeever to get into games only for the server to crash

I think if they could have done it they would have. Lots of games are cutting out online splitscreen/co-op cus its not technically possible anymore. Great graphics and smooth gameplay cant be done twice over.

Turns out that the contributors didn't approve it, cause some think online petition are not real!!! I am surprise they approved this one. I smell hypocrisy!!!

The developers have ALREADY STATED that splitscreen was not possible to keep the framrate high, why dont you idiots ask on the official forum instead of posting news here, demanding where it wont read. Split screen is so dated, get real.

6.2 - Your opinion is narrowminded.

I don't know if you have ever even been in a room with some friends playing splitscreen. Probably too young since it is sooo dated. But let me tell you it is the most fun experience in my opinion playing with people in the same room as you. Especially in a game like halo 3 where after you get tired playing with just the four of you, you can go online and play with your party and others. To say splitscreen is dated is to end the most fun and actually "social" aspect of gaming. I for one am disappointed that they couldn't achieve spit screen online and applaud Bungie's decision to perhaps lower the ultimate graphic quality in order to keep splitscreen. Oh well, I suppose I am in the minority here but despite being a graphics whore I am more of a fun whore and would rather have more fun at 30 fps than less at 60

11 - Last Friday...

Had 20 people over to play system-link COD 4. Surprise! In system-link games you can only play one person per 360. So we played Halo 3 instead. This, coupled with lack of any type of co-op, shoots down those COD 4 as game of the year arguments in my opinion. And all these "technical limitation" arguements seem like just a bunch of BS to me-- if Halo can do 4 player co-op over live, why can't 2 people per system play a networked game of COD 4?
