Forza Motorsport 2 Delayed

Forza Community VIP known as Chespace on the official Forza 2 forums said today that Forza 2 is no longer Holiday 2006, and a new release date will be announced at X06.

“The game is no longer Holiday 2006 -- but we won't announce a new date until X06. Gotta do what you gotta do to get things right, y'know?” – Chespace wrote today when asked if the game was delayed.

I'll play Assassins Creed and I'll laugh. And soon, DMC4 will be announced by Capcom on 360 also. As long as the real good games come to 360 and the lame ones go exclusive on PS3 I am all fine! So please take Full Auto and this one!

GT4 is as good as any racing game out for the 360. Also, how do you know that they arent working on GT5 right now?? I bet they are. Anyways, my point was, SC:DA was delayed, why arent you guys calling it, Splinter Cell:Delayed Agent, you guys had no problem with that, Forza is now Delayed, you guys have no prob with that, but the PS3 being delayd, OMG, how dare they!!

Delaying a console so no software/games can be ran on it is something completely different as one or a few games delayed.

Waiting six months more on a gaming device because they can't deliver like always is something completely different as a game that needs some more tweaking and tuning to get it optimal.

Delays are not bad at all. Yes it sucks that you have to wait a bit, but it usually means they are doing some final polishing and tuning to make the game better.

Look at Oblivion ... I am very glad it was delayed and turned out as good as it did.

I totally see how this relates to Forza 2 being delayed. Oh and Splinter Cell only got delayed by a few weeks and the xbox 360 gets the game 1 week before the ps2,xbox and pc versions. It's one thing when software gets delayed, it's another for hardware delays and software cancelations.

Also Armored Core was rumored to have signed an exclusive deal with sony. It wasn't canceled for anyother reason than sony paying the developer to keep it exclusive. It wasn't like Raw vs. Smackdown or Elveon where the ps3 version got cancel for no apparent reason and microsoft did NOT make any exclusive deals.

As for forza 2 being delayed to Q1 2007, no biggie since there is another racing game coming (NFS carbon) but there is also tons of other games like GOW, NBA 07, CrackDown ,Viva Pinate, Fuzion Frenzy 2 :) and the others.

I actually like the concept of Motorstorm, id like to see how that plays out. And ya, releasing and FPS is bold for them, because Xbox 360 was basically designed for them (trigger buttons, oh and im not going to say how playstation partially ripped of the trigger buttons, because that was natural progression in my opinion). But i agree, COD 3 looks excellent, the vid i saw looked a little choppy though.

16 - Call Of Duty

Is played out. Resistance just looks amazing. The weapons, and you guys know this, are going to be amazing. The story is awesome, a nice twist. Resistance will be better than COD3. I am tired of just playing with a rifle, but thats my oppinions.

Motorstorm looks awesome already, i cant wait to see what it looks like now. Also, its online, that game is gonna be SICK.

Also, about the controller, well, we can say that the xbox controller ripped off teh PS2 controller, by the dual analog sticks. But its a natural progression.

Resistance is only COD3 with some aliens added. And COD3 has better graphics, on the 360 at least.

At least xbox/360 ripped off a controller that is evolving into something splendid. The PS3 controller is just an old PS2 one. Cheapass Sony
