Armored core 4 PS3 Exclusive?

The Xbox 360 version of Armored core 4 has according to PS3focus.nl been cancelled. The series producer and From Software CEO Naotoshi Zin stated that this decision was due to a recent contract with Sony entertainment to keep the Armored Core series PlayStation 3 exclusive.

Furthermore, these are not as important as GTA4, Assassins Creed or Fifa/PES are if the story would be true in the end.

Well it was only announced indeed, but the PS3 users were so sure it would be an exclusive, you included my friend.

So actually it killed the reasons for many to buy a PS3 yeah because Assassins Creed is one of the few new innovative and new concepts out there for POS3.

Oh and for the 360 there are multiple reasons in new franchises. But the best is:

Sony fans will be coming over to 360 side, just because they can play Killzone 2 CGI in realtime this Christmas with Gears of War instead of waiting even more years if it ever comes.

And they're able to play the next gen racing simulation in Forza 2 instead of a smugged up GT4 HD PS2 game and don't have to wait 1,5 year on GT5.

Or they can play football or soccer on 360 NOW, no need to wait another year to get it on POS3.

Or wait, GTA4 from day one on 360 with exclusive downloadable content.

Nope, no need to get a POS3 anymore

Uh yeah, actually I mean that. MGS is dull Japanese gameplay, walk 5 seconds, movie of 40 seconds, walk 30 seconds, movie for 6 minutes.

Resistance? Really nice game. I voted cool on that one because it looks good. Not as great as Gears though, but still good. Only bad thing about it, it's COD3 but then not that good and aliens added. No need to buy for.

Assassins Creed would be also the killer app, but now it's on release day 1 on 360 also.

So yup. See all the new innovative exclusives on 360. More reasons to buy a console where they deliver and not only promise

Yeah the PSZero will have to sell double the numbers of working ones, just as the PS2 that had a sh!tty drive and 1 out of 2 consoles died after no time.

Expect a bad quality drive in the coming PSZero also!

Forza 1 sold 2 million copies to a fanbase of 25 million consoles sold. That's about 1 out of 10 users having it. Now 100 million PS2's sold and how many GT4 games sold (now don't show up with numbers of all GT games combined)?

Oh yeah, 360 games sells like candy. Do you know any game for example like GRAW or COD2, that sold to more then 20% of all 360 owners?

With 5 million units sold at the end of june, that's 1 million copies sold at least. There is no PS game that ever done that. So the XBOX format is the format that sells man. PS owners are kids who have no money for games, that's why the attach rate of the PS2 was 1.9 per unit, for the 360 it's 4.5 per unit. Forza 2 will sell, just wait. And not even sell the game alone, it'll sell systems when GT4 smugged up PS2 version is running on the other demopod beside it!

Yeah ofcourse Sony needs time to develop Fifa/PES. Right. That's why you can have other games this Christmas? THey had the time to produce? Please man. They have developpers kits, other parties also made stuf on PC's emulating a POS3. So it could be done. Just 12 months no soccer on the POS3 accept it.

The BR is made for systems that need lame programming. Like Resistance uses over 20 GB, go see that Oblivion only needed a SL DVD and that's a big world there.

POS3 first needs to get over the 10 million headstart that 360 will have this November. Analists have said Sony will only outsell 360 when it got 2011. At that time the new xbox will be born and the PSZero will fade away forever

Not that I was desperately waiting for this game, but no doubt it does show MS 360 falling even behind in Japan...and with all those 360 games whose PS3 versions are so much more (Fight Night 3, Full Auto 2, Blazing Angels) plus the awesome PS3 launch lineup that already look like 360's 3rd generation software and inside its also so much better(with motion sensing, procedural content, game length, hi-quality due to blu-ray...none of which is on 360 anyway) and also the insanely impressive backward compatibility (Ah...Okami, Yakuza, Final Fantasy XII, Rogue Galaxy and god of war 2) and the knowledge that FF-XIII and "DANTE" is going to be there, its is just making me tingle under the skin, YEEEAH PEOPLE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!!

it never was, and chrome hounds is by the same producer and that wasn't that hot of a game. i know because i rented it and beat it. took it online and it wasn't that hot. the past armoured core games in it's series has improved vigorously become more frantic and fast in battles as tech progressed with the ps2 and from the looks of the trailer it's going to be the fastest and most immersive AC game mainly for the Cells power at huge number crunching. and of course tilt controller. i for one look forward to this game and i can give a rats @$$ about what the mart or any body else has to say

I love to come to this site and laugh when I'm having a hard day at work. On one side you got people bickering about a system(xbox360) being better than another system(ps3) that's not even out. On the opposite side you have people bickering about a site they have even played. Oh why don't you guys just skip this generation and start talking about how Sony and MS will win with the PS4 and XboxNext. First and foremost this isn't yet fact. Secondly, if you never intended to play this game why get so ruffled? The PS3 is going to get games that the xbox360 won't get and vice versa. But I will say I wish that the PS3 start coming out with new IPs like the 360. D@mn... I never would've thought I would see another game title with a 5 or 6 next to it besides Final fantasy lol. But anyway guys keep up the good work of lashing out at each other about consoles they never played(PS3 would-be owners) and being scared that another console is going to be better than what they already own(360 owners).
