1 - This happened to me and...

I got a memory card, stored the stuff that I wanted to keep from my harddrive, and placed it on the card. I then hit the "re-format harddrive" option from the menu. I then placed all my stuff from the memory card back on the harddrive. After doing this Dead Rising works perfect all the time with the harddrive attached.
