well actually fifa 08 is better on the xbox 360.i have it for the 360 and my friend has it for the ps3 and in his game i seen many jaggies that are not present on the 360 version.

I think you should add EA to your little smide remark. I know you think you're creative with your little witicism but, you fall short. Anyone with a PS3 knows EA is dogsh1t. I don't care if other dev's have problems, EA has the most. There are plenty of great looking titles coming out for the PS3. While they might not suit your tastes, not every dev is having a problem with this system.

EA probably owns the IP Madden, they arent going to loose it.

And, EA is *not* the only dev having issues. EA isnt a bad developer in any sense. They make the best line of sports games (im sorry if you want to be a rebel and hate EA for some reason, but its true).

What about Midway's Blacksite: Area 51? Totally gutted online for the PS3. What about the PES2008 having network and performance issues on the PS3?

The list goes on and on and on. The problem *is* that the PS3 is designed poorly and the development tools are crap compared to the Xbox 360.

That is why games for Xbox 360 work better, because the machine and the tools are better.

Look at the ratings of cross-platform games -- look at the racing games for instance:

All you have to do is look at the cross platform games. The same group of developers can build great games for the Xbox 360, but for some reason the PS3 games have issues. Game after Game after Game.

Perhaps -- and I know this is going to be outside your fantasy world-view -- that Sony shipped a bad design, and garbage tools?

Maybe the teams making the games inside Sony are vast in size compared to the 3rd parties. I would imagine that is FAR more likely.

PS3 lost $847 Million in the Second Quarter of 2007. Maybe they spend *far* more money on making their 1st party titles than you think.

In the end, the 3rd Party Developers are going to look at the numbers and jump ship on the PS3 for budget and revenue reasons.

Sure, if you *really* spend a boat-load-of-money you can get a game to be as good as the Xbox 360 counterpart -- but why burn money for nothing? Its not going to happen.

Sony could do a better job of helping developers, they have been trying with things like the EDGE tools (think thats what they were called). It doesn't help when the game engine which quite a lot of the developers use is basically screwed up:

Didn't Sony team up with Epic not so long ago to try and sort these problems out. All I'm really saying its not 100% Sonys fault probably 33.3% the others being developers not wanting to learn new code 33% and Epic distributing an unfinished engine to quite a lot of developers 33%, all this together makes one hell of a headache for software developers

hahah! Right! EA is so different from Sony, yeah, Sony there a nice bunch of guys. Hell, there practically running a charity with the PS3. Heck, they gave away $847 Million in Q2 2007 *ALONE*.

Yep, Sony doesnt care about the bottom line at all. They'll just sell their Cell Manufacturing Facilities and IP and the Sony Insurance Division just to keep pumping money on the Sony MPAA and Sony RIAA BR dream machine.

If you use your critical thinking skills, put on your skeptical-spectacles and stop to imagine for a second; Maybe -- JUST MAYBE -- Sony's not being honest about how super-magical-powerful the PS3 is?

In fact, its roughly equal in power to the Xbox 360. The *REAL* trouble lies in the PS3 being a b*llsh*t design and a set of development tools to match. *THAT* is why you see inferior game after game after game on the PS3. Because Sony shipped a bad design that is only as powerful as the Xbox 360's good design.

When it comes down to it, Sony would have been far better off to try and make a good development environment and design and not burnt up moeny shoving DRM laden BR for the benefit of the Sony MPAA and Sony RIAA divisions.

Sony just threw the Playstation under the bus for its RIAA and MPAA interests. And you are lapping up their lies. You should spend more time in developing your critical thinking skills.

you xbox fanboys just won't admit it will you. The PS3's cell processor is a lot more powerful then the 360. You think MGS4 or GT5 could ever run on the 360? They would have to be greatly down graded.

You are all really starting to piss you of. All you ever say is it's not the devs, it's sony's bad design. I didn't know more sophisticated hardware and innovation were bad design flaws.

The fact is you have no proof that the architecture is designed badly on the ps3, you just like to think that with no weight behind your arguement. The 360 just did things to same way. It's virtually the same as a PC. Sony have moved forward, and with knew technology comes the slow process of learning how to use it. If the PS3 is so badly designed how can we have games like GT5 and rachet and clank. It's just your fanboyism that makes you so ignorant. If others can get it right, logic tells us that EA can get it right also.

EA's developers have made COUNTLESS great games. Franchises such as Madden, Command & Conquer, Metal of Honor, Mercenaries, Tiger Woods, Battlefield, The Sims, NBA Live, Ultima, The Lord of the Rings ..and new games like Army of Two, Crysis & Hellgates of London... NO my friend they have plenty of talent.

GT5 has been in development for what almost 3 yrs? I mean they started working on that after they released GT4, so they have had a TON of time to work on the Sony system for development, etc. Same thing goes for R&C: TOD...this game too has been cooking for well over 2 yrs at Sony. The difference between those two games and the games EA puts out (especially sports) is that EA sports titles are annual affairs...they launch a new one every year due to their nature of being a seasonal sports title. They cannot afford to take two years to develop a sports title. They need to be able to churn those out yearly because public demand is there for it.

So again...maybe its not EA's issue but rather a Sony one in that what they have given developers to work with truly takes a bit longer to optimize than other systems.

So again I say...this is a Sony problem. Unless ofcourse Sony doesn't care about 3rd party support and equality of titles released by those 3rd parties. Cause if that is the case ...then Sony might as well close up the shop now.

Sony needs to get this situation under control fast!
