2.2 - Jericho deserved a low score. It's just not fun.

The low score for R&C is because of the PS3 rating ceiling being set at 8.5 by most reviewers. If it was a 360 game it would have gotten no less than 9.5 but due to the bias against PS3 R&C will only be given a B rating at best.

You are delusional if you think PS3, 360 or the Wii has a review ceiling cap. Stop being a fanboy. Visit metacritic.com and you will see that most sites gave Ratchet and Clank 90% or higher.

It is good. It has gotten 8/10 and 7/10 from good sites and mags. 1UP is just not in the mood today. They gave 8 to CastleVania PSP which has both Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood!

Well they say it's long load times, weak weapons, horible voice acting, and bland enemies. Seems like a just score if you count those in it. Another post gave this a 7 so it's not shaping up as a sweet game as of now. Didn't play the demo myself so I can say.

I dont really like squad based games, but that aside i would never give it a 3/10. Something is seriously stucked up Joe Rybickis butt, this game desearves 7-8 from what ive seen of the demo. And that is considering i don like these kind of games.

He was brutal, but I don't know if being a 360 fan or not had to do with how he felt about the game, it is a multiplat game after all. I'm interested in seeing more reviews tho, just to see how they all mesh. Reviews are ok as references, but the reviewers are people just like you and I, meaning, take everything with a grain of salt.

Rachet and clank deserves better than an 8.5 from that one reviewer but two other reviewers from 1up gave rachet a 9 and a 9.5..

FYI everyone i was just looking at some site i think kotaku and gametap will have this game to DL for their 1 buck membership...sure beats the 60 bucks on the 360 or PS3... and can try it out for yourself!

The FPS category is saturated right now and the popularity of these games is a good and a bad thing for developers.
Good thing because if you make a good game it will most likely get attention because of the popularity of FPS, bad for developers because if you make something horrible, there is a lot of competition for the money of consumers.
I guess now we have to see how COD4, HAZE and UT3 stack up, I am sure they put a lot of time into Jerico, but in the end the FPS market is brutally competitive and to survive you have to bring it.
3 is a very low score though, the demo wasn't excellent, but it didn't seem that horrible. I guess I will have to rent this and see for myself.

That "falling down the tunnel to escape the slowly descending baddie" really threw me off the balance of the demo up until then, and the controls seemed a tad awkward (I found myself using the special abilities when those buttons felt more natural as weapon fire). That aside, the game seemed solid enough for a rental at the very least... I'll still probably buy it.

Not all good games are created equal. MK_Red and many other users might have you think that all good games should get 8.0-9.0+ scores. That pretty much makes them all very very similar. If you average the scores on metacritic of all games ever made, it SHOULD be 5.0, but it's probably more like 7.0. Game reviewing shouldn't be elementary school art class where as long as you stay inside the lines you get an A.

Jericho has nothing going for it aside from purty graphics. I played the demo twice and that was more than enough incentive for me to delete it. In a sea of killer FPS games (on all consoles) coming out Jericho shouldn't even be considered.

When i read the previews for this I thought it was a great idea. After playing the game I must say that this 3/10 is ridiculous and totally biased toward the game. Anything lower than a 5 should be reserved for games that very little going for them and I just don't see that in this game.

i'm a huge clive barker fan and i enjoyed the demo. i agree that a few things w/ the demo were off but it was just a demo. metacritic.com says it got a 6.5/10 from metacritic, a 80/100 from PSM, 65/100 from Extreme Gamer(which is the same as 6.5/10). so i'm still buying Jericho.

this is beyond harsh. 3/10? thats really f0cking close to big rigs and that game wasnt even playable. all their doing is bltching because the game is to hard and loading takes a while. pathetic.
