TimeShift Gets Golden for PC, 360

After getting delayed, gutted, and extensively overhauled, Saber Interactive's TimeShift (PC, PS3, X360) has gone gold for PC and Xbox 360 and will make its retail date of October 30. The PlayStation 3 version is currently scheduled for release December 4.

I didn't even bother with the demo.

Another FPS will some sort of time effects. Whatever. Not really interested unless it scores well, indicating to me it would be worth a try.

I'm too busy with Halo 3, and soon CoD4.

i thought the demo was amazing....probably in the top three for demos i played this year (Bioshock and Jericho being the other 2)

i wonder though.... will ps3 get the dec 4 date? so far another exclusive by default. Orange box, another exclusive by default is already getting highest reviews this year and now this.

now lets see if the 2 timed exclusives sony paid for (Haze and UT3) pay off....compared to the 2 timed exclusives xbox gets by default.

The Demo was interesting but they have to definitely work out some issues for example why the hell isn't there AA? why do you have to press so many buttons to activate the time powers? and finally why does the PC version is such a blatant port of the 360? I mean come on there is a freaking press the X to continue >.>

lets just wait for the reviews.....the demo was fun to play and the graphics were awesome as expected by unreal engine.

anyone dissing this game as of now is just another pissed off sonyfan that bought a blu-ray thinking they were also getting this generations best gaming console

anyways.... mostly everyone is waiting for Call of Duty 4.

Uh I got a PS3, a 360, and a gaming rig PC more than capable of playing this game and I still say it was nothing worth my time (pun initially not intended). It's a gutted hollow ghost of the gameplay they set to deliver from back when it was supposed to come out on the original Xbox and now it's being outclassed by other games. The graphics are nothing special either, it has that "let's ramp up the phong shader on everything to make it nice and shiny" that I so hate now with a lot of current games.

12 - yeah demo wasn't bad but certainly not great

the game has a very cheap feel to it, seriously I played the demo twice just to give it another look, the time thing is cool in motion but after the 1st 5x's, the gameplay overall gets boring fast imo.

Exceptt I can agree with the AA comment. That is unexcusable in this console generation.. I know the demo was an older build so hopefully it's better in the retial.

I will be picking this game up and Blacksite Area 51 as well.

This game might have had a chance had it come out when it was supposed to. But now it has to compete for gamers' time and money with some very high quality shooters. At this time of the year it's not good enough to be just good enough. The game has to be excellent, or it will get lost in the crowded release calendar. I'm an FPS fan myself, and I usually buy a game as long as it doesn't suck. I will eventually play Timeshift if the reviews are decent, but I won't be able to get to it until next year. There's just so much other good stuff, and I haven't even played through all the games I have already.
