Wow Secret Kinda extreme huh? I am a PS3 fan too but no matter what you post they wont care man. All in all 360 fans are right on some things. Lack of games and delays left and right suck. However the ones that are blind to the PS3 potential i.e. looking at Wardevil and GT5 need a good skull smashing. At the current moment they have 3 REALLY good games. Well 2(Dont much like halo myself) imo but still 3 AAA titles we cant touch Gear, Halo3 and Bioshock. Still though down the line I think many will convert. No point in all that man. Its a good post but yeah.

@ Gondee If I think of one I'll let you know. "Xbot" is pretty good "Playbot" and "Botstation" aint that good...

There is nothing more pathetic than a "Droid" from a Star Wars movie accept Jar Jar, there purpose is to be cannon fodder "training" for the hero Jedi. Everything they do, their whole existance is to do whatever the emperor/Sony tells them even the lies and promises. In the end they lose and are pushed into galactic garbage pits of overpriced promises and lies.

but this didnt really show us anything. this PGR4 is all about a new weather system so I would have liked to see that, plus the bikes would have been nice to see as well. Not to mention the video quality of this capture wasnt the best so hard to really see if PGR4 has any graphical improvements...

Based off that video...they looked like the same game. Not a ringing endorsement if you ask me to buy the new one. Show me the weather ...show me what makes this game different.

Quality looks so bad you can't even tell the diferences.

pgr4 has more going on in the paint.

Comparison is a joke. Sony fanboys need to stop the hating although this is getting mixed reviews Sony fanboys are still attacking it because they're threatend by its graphics.

The weather adds so much to the gameplay.

This is a pic of my racing in PGR4 two days ago.(I'm driving that car in this pic, PC doesn't even do this justice you should see this in HD on a LCD).

Video's a joke I'll be suprized if a Sony fanatic did not post this.

6.1 - The reviews are "mixed"?

This site needs a serious dose of reality.

Project Gothum Racing 4 has a 8.6 / 10 on Metacritic.

That makes it the 4th best racing game on Xbox 360. But better than EVERYTHING available on PS3 or Wii (just to mention for completeness).

The very _WORST_ review, is a 7.5. Its a pretty tight pack of reviews, averaging to 8.6.

The Sony Defence Force on n4g, trying to malign Project Gothum Racing 4 is extra funny, there isnt a single racing game on the PS3 that is as good as _ANY_ racing game on the Xbox 360. Thats a fact.

PGR3 to PGR4 isn't a big step graphically at all but I was expecting this game to look like the trailers they showed us and it really doesn't.

Of course the argument is valid that the the 360 has been out for an extra year, but why are the multiports still scored higher on the 360?

No, I don't think so. The xbox1 would have had better graphics, gameplay, framerates and so on.

PGR4 has more detail, better lighting, weather effects physics on cars not seen in games before, weather effects in environments not seen in games on a console.

It has more things going on on the surfaces of the cars.

The people on the side of the track are far better, the lighting on buildings is far better, the light from the sun is far better.

I tell you why people do not visit PGR4 threads, its because no one gives a fuc what you think the owners of this game play this game and say this is so much fun and look at it saying OMG! Oh my fucing god.

The ability to spectate or participate in Live games streamed on Gotham or Forza TV.

The second is that their cars' engine sounds come from real life samples meticulously recorded from eack of the included cars.

Forza's sounds are so extremely detailed that evey stage of intake or exhaust modifications are reflected in the cars' sounds on the track.

10.4 - fact is you guys are trolls

i can play a game without owning a 360 - i sold mine after playing Halo 3's campaign.

it's my personal opinion and i give a fvck if some guy at a website tells me something different.

for example i love Lair's controls + graphics - not because i'm a fanboy (i have to sell 360's to customers every time) but because i think the game is nice to play.

a lot of customers are dissapointed by Halo 3 so who cares about perfect 10/10's??

back on topic: PGR is definitely not the best looking game out there and for me, nothing can beat Motorstorm with it's intense gameplay.

so please, enjoy PGR 4 - i'm looking forward to a real next gen racing experience which i probably get with GT5.

HOLY SH*T THEY USED A DIFFERENT LENS FILTER! This is the problem with Xbox 360. Developers have already maxed out its potential, and it's not that impressive. It's why you can look forward to PS3 games looking much better with each iteration. Cell makes things more complicated, but as devs figure it out more and more people will forget about 360

PGR4 is better than PGR3. In graphics, sound, track selection, dynamic weather and gameplay. The only part where it's lacking is in the "watch replay" mode. I get a headache because each camera view gets a maximum of 4 seconds before switching views, with 1-2 seconds being the average. I get a headache just trying to watch my replays.

Although both look similar cuz of poor quality video but with the new weather system plus amazing track details (not seen in this vid) certainly warrants a buy or a rent. I will pik it up definately. ONly slightly offput by the lack of dynamic lighting inside the cokpit view, maybe cuz it was cloudy but pgr3 interior effects looked better. HOpe i'm wrong. POG can u verify?????????????

The vid is too small to spot any differences.

Fortunately, I have played them both and I think PGR4 looks a lot more realistic when it comes to lighting. It has more detail and the weather effects make it look insane (the rain effect is unrivaled).

I know these aren't necessarily the BEST graphics the 360 can handle, but if even ONE -(good)- developer is having a hard time achieving a prodigious difference in graphics and/or gameplay mechanics between their generations of games for said platform, wouldn't that indicate that something is 'wrong'?

I'm starting to wonder if the 360 will stumble upon any more significant graphical strides in it's future. While no doubt the 360's graphics will continue to evolve and get sharpened up by the digital chefs that are programmers, will there be any more Gears of War(s)?
