1 - The PGR4 demo isn't there yet,

in either region. It's damn cool they have a demo though, wasn't expecting that anymore.

Damn its clear PGR4 is not running at 720p. Its jaggies feel just like Halo 3. MS should start putting pressure on its developers to stop making shortcuts. GeOW was 720p, so I am sure 360 can do 720p properly.

Other than that it is good. I will get it when I dont have many games to play sometime next year.

It is 720p Darth, Its just lacking decent anti aliasing (2x maybe? Im sure BC said it would be 4x but to me this aint 4x.), hence the jagged appearence. Trust me PGR3 looked worse! Take a photo in the game to see what full screen AA WOULD of looked like during gameplay.

wow so here is a major rant that is probably going to piss off alot of people. Ok first of Timegate, since apparently you're doing the new F.E.A.R. K news flash boys, Fear looked good in 2004, maybe it's time to UPDATE the graphics just a tad, don't ya think? Not to mention the game blows and the A.I. oh my god it's just awful...I literally could run through any room and just melee without dying. Secondly PGR3, um no wait PGR4 right? Uh yeah PGR4 is a whole lot like PGR3 with bikes, were the graphics even improved upon? I doubt I will buy PGR now, it just feels like a rip-off. This is really a sad day, maybe my expectations are too high and I am a huge 360 fan, but it sure feels like games have hit the proverbial wall. Gears of War is the only game that has blown me away. Forza looked nice but was not what I expected, Halo 3 is great like I expected and I love how it looks and it may be technically impressive, but yeah it's not the prettiest game and underwhelming in the graphics department at best from what I expected. PGR4 is like PGR3 with bikes. I compare those to GT5 and Metal Gear and it's like, "uh..." I really hope the PS3 isn't that much more powerful, because I don't feel like the games this generation have improved upon themselves really since 2005. Maybe my expectations are set too high, I guess I am just left a little underwhelmed.

Your expectations are not too high. This is supposed to be "next-gen" so we are expecting excellent graphics, AI and some freakin AA. Jaggies are not acceptable, running games at low resolutions is unacceptable.. Games should be getting better as the 360 goes on in it's life but it seems developers are not rising to the challenge.

PGR looks great and I don't notice any jaggies, but this FEAR Files demo is horrid..

but is this just GFX. I thought that H3 could have looked better, but it is hella fun. As far as improvements time does not always = improvements. GOW has looked the same since it was first shown at E3. Also Gears or War falls short on content. Rainbow Six is 10x better than Gears and it is ugly. I'm a GFX whore and both next gen consoles (PS3 and 360) have not shown what I expected. Since E3-05 I was expected the PS3 games to look like movies. I want killzone but from a GFX standpoint I wanted more. In the end the 360 has been fun for me.

Funky Town_TX - I think GFX are especially important in racing games. To me you have to have next gen GFX for racing games it is a must. I'm going to rent PGR4 first then decide for myself wether or not to buy it.

D/l pgr4 now. Will see it on my 50" tv and then decide if i want to go ahead. Still kudos to XBLIVE team, we've had simpson, conan, something blade , NHL08, F.E.A.R, etc to chk out.
