Im like 3/4 through campaign on heroic been like 15 hours so far . So much for this game being short. This game is crazy hard on heroic.

6.1 - Did you watch through the credits?

You don't find out the Master Chief is still alive unless you watch until all of the credits have rolled through. This may be why you missed a lot of the video.
