I agree totally, it will be amazing on either system, this is looking like it will be a lot of fun.

I am a huge fan of the burnout's that came out before on xbox and 360, they where a lot of fun to drive, the game is always really fast and super fun, can't wait for this one, just seems like everything that was good in the old ones multiplied by 10.

This is a must pick up for me.

i am so disappointed they got rid of Crash Mode - that made Burnout for me!
But the graphics look ace, especially in the crashes.

I can see myself playing this game nonstop everyday on PS3. I can't wait to use my 5.1 Surround sound. The subwoofer works brilliantly when you use the boost.

i noticed that there is a slight improvement on the crashes on PS3.

But as a whole Burnout Paradise will certainly be really enjoyable on both consoles.

They didn't get rid of CRASH MODE its just renamed "SHOWTIME"...because now (Crash Mode) can take place anywhere at any time...its up to the user to initiate it.

So you can create a massive pile up during a race now? That could be cool.

Any way back on topic, the only burnout i have played was the one for PS2 and Xbox, not the newest one, the one before i think, and as much fun as it was for a short period of time, (im talkin afew months here)i just dont like the arcadey concept of the game, boost etc. Reminds me to much of Need 4 speed. Some people prefer arcade to sim, i however prefer sim, and just once, id like to see a game where the slightest touch could tear apart your car and end your race.
Burnouts are fun, but for me its GT and Forza the hit my sweet spot, PGR is also good fun.

Burnout games are all about driving fast, cool crashes and pure fun.
Only bad or minor flaw that i can see on those paradise vids is the draw distance which should have more distance cause the cars are going really fast and draw distance cant keep up.
But well its not even finished yet and they got time to fix it. im pretty sure that they know it and that they will add more distance to it. then it will be the best burnout/car crashing game ever!

The cars really look like they have proper physics and weight.

Anyone who is looking to compare this game to the 360 version is an idiot because Criterion said the PS3 version will be a top-notch performer just like its 360 counterpart.

besides, these videos are horribly low-res and anyone who says that they can make out noticeable differences from the PS3 version is lying or blind.

11 - Its impossible to tell from these videos

They stated that Ps3 version would be the main dev platform or some BS but id bet good money 360 will still have better Anti Aliasing as I have yet to see many games (exuse me, cross platform games) that use enough AA to make jaggies disappear or atleast not be R6 jag-tastic.

The crashing sequences do seem a bit better but being as everything is random is could be that particular crash just happend to look better then the crash that happend on the 360 videos ive seen.

Will this be the 1st game that there is absolutly no difference? No, thats impossible. There will ALWAYS be differences. In motion though you wont tell the difference unless you have two tv's side by side.. Except jaggies those stick out and the majority of people notice them quite quickly. Im just rambling now, what was this article even about?
