The 360 version clearly looks better to me. I have both my PS3 and 360 hooked up with HDMI to my 1080p DLP. The 360 version looks sharper with better colors. The PS3 version seemed a bit washed out with less defined lines and edges.

regardless of which system it looks better on, its crap, i read a review on here yesterday that stated that the game is full of bugs and £uck ups! just your usual EA wank!
How the hell can you review demo versions of a game? obviously the complete noob who write it just wanted to start a flame war, which it will even tho 99% of the people who say 'ha xbox is better' probably wont even buy it...
$60?? pfft, just go buy some REAL golf clubs!

edit @: drunk pandas , why not go and read the other thread and you can read what they have said about the complete build not a demo, they list at least 6 faults with it, one of which is the fact you can put your face on a golfer as EA's server didnt work which was the main new feature of 08!

What fools they are at EA. This is just another EA title that I wont be buying. Lets see if they can go the whole hog and half arse Fifa 2008. I will have spent a total of zero Euros on EA games this year!

This company keeps one eye on its share price and the other on games development, is it any wonder that the games they release are borderline beta versions! Produce a game on one console cash in on the port over. Well I wont be suckered into buying any version of this game.

How can they side with the 360 version if it has a known bug that freezes up the console and does not allow you to even finish the game? Dumb comparison FTL! Btw, GS admitted that the PS3 version was better than the 360 version. Not that it means anything. Both versions suck!

the PS3 demo looked liked it still needed some work on the colours and the textures and alround it looked naff but saying that i had both versions last year and the PS3 looked a lot better but wont be buying the o8 version waiting for everybodys golf

Never said anything of the sort. Sure they said they'll work on getting the 360 version out of the door first and have gotten some of the games to run more complete but they never said they'll be graphiclly handi-capping the PS3 version.

The issues that are pointed out have nothing to do with EA these issues have to do with PS3 design and are problems with all games and many devs. lol

DON'T EVEN TRY AND BLAIM EA THIS IS A STANDARD DIFFERENCE AND HAS TO DO WITH HARDWARE NOT DEVS.

Blaim EA!, no one believes this is just an EA issue although its easy to blaim them making up excuses due to the fact EA is so well known and makes many games.

I hold my controller a little unconventionally for Tiger Woods Golf so I can hit more accurately and get more boost when I need it. It just won't work with the 360 controller.

You rabid Sony fans are fascinating. Not even worth repying to. Blaming EA for this. Even PS3 first party games or PS3 only games have the three shades of Brown art style and when a game does have some color its saturation is poor, faded, lifeless and has poor depth.

You are right. Many reviewers have commented on the poor color scheme of PS3 games. Lair is a good example of this. It probably has something to do with the GPU the PS3 uses.

As for Tiger looking better on 360. It comes as no suprise bc it is a port to the PS3. As ar most other 3rd party games

EGM on Lair: graphics were good and he said “its High Def” and he didn’t like the colors used,everything was brown and Grey. ...

Slightly off topic from the tiger woods games but I've just finished downloading the Nascar08 demo.

WTF how is EA getting away with this crap? With the power of this generation's consoles and this is the best they can do? On the PS3 demo they can't even be bothered to have a intro screen on the XMB!(actually from looking through the demo they've released none of them have one.) If ever a PS3 game looked like a PS2 one, here it is.

I personally thought from playing the 3 holes on the Tiger demo that this franchise is going backwards. Absolutely no improvement on graphics. This is a game that should I ever buy, it'll be from the bargain bin at some store. It is looking more and more like EA sports is becoming the Lada of games producers.
