Its only a matter of time before the Media blacklist this game, I promise. Whats amazing to me is that noone sees a problem with this offering of Violence,Gore, and Massive blood.

The very fact that a game like this is being offered so losely is sad. Terrible (And please dont answer me with replys of "If you dont like it dont buy it" thats not the point.)

Same here. How can anyone justify hacking heads off and blood gushing everywhere?? I dont get it, is this supposed to be fun?

But apparently, it seems that as long as there is not a backlash then its ok?.. its criminal.

Same thing with saints row, guess the kid will have to stay in his room when i am playing. they probably should have an option in these games to turn it off but honestly i wouldn't want to, that is half the fun.

i have a step kid, and he knows if i tell him he can't watch something then doesn't and if he does he gets grounded. anyway if the kid comes down stairs it isn't hard to pause the game because i can hear him coming down the stairs. my house isn't designed in a way that he can peer around a corner and watch so keeping him away isn't as hard as it might be in other places.

it also has to do with age of the child we are talking about, can a 13 or 14 old see someone playing this game,,, yeah probably, i don't think i would let them play it but if they snuck a peek i think they can understand it is a video game. a 7 or 8 yr old even if they know zombies aren't real i think might be a little much for them.

1 - censorship sucks - and that's exactly what jak was advocating under the guise of protecting the children. If your parenting skills are so weak and unrefined that you need some type of regulation to compensate for your own inability to explain to a child what they might see/hear - then you are failing at raising a child, namely because the lines of communication have been severed to a point where the child doesn't ask questions and just draws their own conclusions.

Reading some of the other comments would have been better if they were more akin to - 'I cant play this or GoW because I'm going to be with my (insert gender here) at (insert extra curriculum activity here)' or ' I'm going to be helping my (xxx) with their math/reading/science ect and spending some real quality time with the kid, rather then sitting in front of the boob-tube with them'

Back to the game - looks awesome, the demo was fun and I cant wait to have the full version so I can see just how blood red I can paint the mall.

actually i would hope that question is asked one day. it will help the kid down the path of making his own decisions and not simply doing something because someone else told him to, i play it because i choose to.
Yes kids often times want to do what you are doing but i also draw the line of "i am doing adult things"(as in i am not dead yet and still have some things i want to do in my life including cutting people in half and killing zombies), they need to learn to entertain themselves at times, it helps them to figure out who they are and what they like to do. Not do things because that is what someone else is doing. I don't want to teach a lemming, i don't want someone to follow in my footsteps, i want someone who understands why things are the way they are and makes their own footsteps in the world.
And also understands there are levels, ie things that are ok for everyone to do together and some things you just have to wait to be an adult to do (like play GOW).

A great game it is! This game rocks! Zombie slashing is cool, with anything you can get your hands on.

For real, this is a great game and yes it gives fun in gaming. There are only a few games that do that. It's hilarious the hot burning pan to push it in a zombie's face. Zombie's are already dead people it's not that bad ;)
