You asked for games. Sony and Developers game them to you.

You asked for the power of the ps3 to be proven. Killzone, Lair, Metal Gear Solid 4, Heavenly Sword and etc. gave it to you.

You're asking for rumble in six-axis. It's coming soon.

You wanted a top notch online experience. Sony gave it to you for free.

The List could go on and on, What else do you want? Halo 3 on the Ps3? Why?

I am just saying, Blu-Ray is no incentive in my book even though I own an HDTV and a Surround system. And no game so far has shown me I need to spend an additional $500 on another system that is essentially the same as my 360. I am just saying if this game is running smooth and fast like it is being chased by the cops, Then I want to see it and if it stomps the later 360 version. Then kudos, I just don't need $1,000 of gaming systems doing the same damn thing.

Plus, If I start playing PS3 all the time what about my Gamerscore, LOL

Yea, it's called the Halo effect. And it moves everything off of the 360. It creates the kind of market that allows Halo 3 to thrive. It dominates, therefor no other games dare cross it, therefor it's the only option on the 360, therefor it dominates, therefor... You can easily see how success feeds success. Success creates hype. Hype creates success. It's self-feeding. However, it's also good for the competition, because it gives them exclusives or timed exclusives.

I can't give you a good reason to buy one. But if you've seen the PS3 demos of E307, then I can tell you why. And it's bad-@ss hardware too. "It will last for 10 more years"....or what ever...but what ever your mindset is, it's a good piece of electronic for the price for sure! And.....I can play with it too. :)

Man that Mark Rain is one of the most sizable dweebs ive ever seen. By him saying what he said i get one thing from it, that gears of war still looks better than killzone 2 if not he would have compared this game to killzone 2. why compare a your game to another if that other is not the one with the best graphics so far? and guess what he's wrong and this game will evetually come to the 360 and look even better than that

going along with (but not necessarily agreeing with) wat videogames4life said about the GPU's of the PS3 and 360.
i heard, and i dont remember where, that the ps3 is significantly underpowered compared to what they were originally designing it to be.
the story is that IBM and sony were tryin to get the cell processor to do it all, that is as GPU and CPU therefore cutting cost and power consumption while having insane power. apparently they failed and got Nvidia to bail them out and derived the current GPU off of high end Nvidia chips

this may be complete bs but if some1 else has heard this and can find the source it would be great

wikipedia sheds a little light as it says that the cell processor was designed to bridge the gap between CPU's and GPU's but it doesnt say much more to my level of understanding of such things

OXM magazine were invited to play the 360 version of UT3 recently and reported the same thing....that the unreal engine running UT3 on 360 was looking better than gears of war (which was released a year ago!)
Gutted it's a timed exclusive though! i'm really stoked about this game and want it sooner rather than later over halo anytime.

huh? stay with me here keywords = "Unreal and tournament" is currently running better on the PS3 than more keywords = "Gears of war" was running on the 360. This could be a myriad of reasons. They know UE3 better now, their actually smart enough to work with the PS3, the ps3 is more qualified to run all the tasks flawlessly...I don't know the reason but it's unfair to spin it negatively against the 360. My bet is that they just know UE3 better now...Gears was their first game built with it. but we will see when the 360 version comes...

I have a load of new demos to play on the 360 from E3? So UT is a timed exclusive? So what? I've got too many games to buy before Christmas anyway. And I would hope that epic has upped their game since they were building Gears. If they hadn't, it would be sad.

Mass Effect & Call of Duty 4 WILL BE much better games than Killzone2. Killzone1 WAS trash, Killzone2 will have a lot more to prove beyond great graphics. Graphics are only part of the puzzle, GEARS OF WAR is the best next gen game because of it's OUTSTANDING GAMEPLAY, the graphics just add 2 the icing. UT4 is a game in development, GEARS is the game that has PWNED NEXT GEN & you dare 2 compare ? Killzone2 isn't even out, how can u begin 2 compare it 2 Gears or any other game that is available for purchase NOW ? I cant wait to actually see & play Killzone either, but sorry, COD4 looks fantastic. It looked as good as KILLZONE2 to me if not better & much more realistic - G4 gave COD4 "Game of E3" along with honorable mention to MASS EFFECT - Killzone2 was NOT even mentioned in their Best of E3 wrapup today, MASS EFFECT & COD4 were. I guess you think you know more about the Industry than people who were ACTUALLY AT E3 & SAW THESE GAMES & REVEIW THESE GAMES FOR A LIVING. Your whole line of commentary is a whole lot of heavily biased speculation on games that aren't even available for us to review much less actually *PLAY*.

As for Halo3 being hype, whoa you are going to $HIT on yourself when you see Halo's sales numbers this Fall. It's not my favorite either, but to call one of the biggest selling franchises’s of ALL time "TRASH" is hilarious. As far as your list of great games there Son, you need to add BIOSHOCK, MASS EFFECT, HALO 3, TOO HUMAN, ASSASSIAN'S CREED, COD4, DARK SECTOR, GRAND THEFT IV, FABLE 2, RE5, GUITAR HERO III, GEARS OF WAR 1 & yes, GEARS OF WAR 2 (since most of the PS3 games u cite are 2008+ models). MASS EFFECT okay at best ?!? I'm so glad that YOU will not be enjoying the BEST SciFi RPG on any platform to date. Wouldn't be surprized if it gets GOTY either.

I have a PS3 & a 360, they are both great consoles. The *potential* for the PS3 is there, no doubt. But unlike you, I'm alittle less biased & reserve my final opinion 4 when these games are RELEASED & I PLAY THEM. However, so far, I have *yet* to see a AAA PS3 game that is BETTER than a AAA 360 game, graphically or otherwise. By the way, my PS3 is so powerful that I find myself playing my 360 much more because I have a library of great games I can play NOW & MORE keep coming every month. *Achievement Unlocked*

Sony did a great job at E3, but I wanna play METAL GEAR, MASS EFFECT, ASSASSIANS CREED, COD4, DRAKE'S FORTUNE, DARK SECTOR, BIOSHOCK, & yes, TOO HUMAN online co-op, & eventually GEARS OF WAR 2 way more than I do KILLZONE2 or HEAVENLY or LAIR if I had to chose. But you, GENERAL, are the kind of FLAMING FANBOY that makes me more biased to my 360. Oh well, if these games are half as good as you say they will be, at least I'll have a reason to play my PS3 again besides RESISTANCE & THE DARKNESS. I just wish we had just one of the games you mentioned on store shelves.

Oh and the video of DMC4 on a 360 is brilliant. Please purchase an xbox360 to watch it on live. Don't sell your PS3 (if you have one) as it does have some good games coming.
