2 - Its not a rumour!

Microsoft already confirmed themselves they want a trilogy and its Microsoft's IP anyways. Also Cliffy said there would be a sequel.

Only person to shoot it all down was Mark Rhein but his word counts for nothing since Microsoft own the IP and it was Cliffy B's game in the first place.

9 - Gears on PS3?

As much that it would only be possible if Microsoft didn't own the IP secondly it would cost EPIC tons more money because of the GPU's inability to do HDR+AA and multi texturing all of which would have to be emulated via software and done by the CELL.

Why spend tons more cash when its easier just making it all work with the 360 hardware?

Disagree if you want but I notice that only the Sony PS fans who are seriously lacking in any positive comebacks in which they can hold a mature conversation of any sort.

But funny that I own a 360 and PS3 and still can get called a fanboy lol.

I wonder how they will follow the first game. Will it be a prequel or a full featured sequel? Even a spin-off is possible. Imagine a GOW special spin-off where you control locust in singleplayer and invaded the earth during Emergence day!

Thats a really good idea. I would think that any spin-off would occur after the original series is finished to get the last breath of life from the series. I would think that if they were to do a trilogy, the second game would be on the 360 and the last one of the next xbox. This would convince a large amount of people to get the next xbox just for this game, look at halo 3.

Can't wait for GoW2. What's so great about GoW's story is that there is a lot mystery surrounding Marcus, the Locust, the Locust Queen, and Marcus's father. I love stories that keep you guessing on what the plot is and how everything is going to fall into place later on.

My only request for the new game.

For the doubters, Gears gave me more of a sense of being in an intense "Battle" than ANY other game - more so than Halo and COD(both of which I also love)You HAVE to use cover.

Yes, Gears is pretty, but what is real special is the mood it creates - so the artistic vision. Kind of like RE4 - great grapics for last gen, but what made it a classic is the mood created.

Anyway, never mind me, I'm just having fond memories of a great game...I should put it in tonight...gotta try to beat INSANE...

it would be nice for gears 2 to come out next Nov, but i doubt it. I think it will come out with release of movie maybe in 2009, but Nov 2008?? i just think thats too soon.... epic is going to need more time.
