Another 2 for Hour of Victory The Worst 360 game to date

The easiest way to look at it is that Hour Of Victory simply isn't a finished product. Frequent crashes, scrappy fundamentals, all kinds of jaw-dropping glitches and rudimentary errors in missions conspire to make this one of the sloppiest and most embarrassing 360 releases to date.

2.1 - probley the creators

in a way this shows how WWII fps, are no longer as exciting, I say leave it to the pros(gearbox) Brothers in Arms is the only WWII game for me, i call it the forza of shooters, but yea this game fails to excite, and most everything else

Bomberman AZ scored more than this! Gamespot gave it 2.8 or something and other sites gave it 3 to 5. But Hour of Victory has two "2"s so far, one from Gamespot, marking their lowest rated 360 game to date (And lowest rated Next-gen game in their book I think).

It's such an enourmous turd that it is actually interesting/funny reading all the bad reviews.

Sonic was bad, but it didn't get this much attention because it wasn't THIS horrendously bad.

It's like an Ed Wood or Uwe Boll movie. Some things are so bad you HAVE to watch out of morbid curiosity.

It's like a car wreck. I absolutely can't stop myself from reading about this game.

Haha - "One of the lesser known facts about the Nazi forces is their knack for teleportation. In fact, Hour Of Victory is the first source to document this, often surprising you with enemies spawning right in front of your eyes."

I wonder why it didn't get a 1? I think 2 must be as low as they rate games. Sounds like the only way this game could've been worse is if the disc frequently exploded during gameplay and fragments embedded themselves in the player's forehead. Midway should consider that for the sequel.

I can't believe Midway let this game go to market. Really, really makes me question them and their sensibilities.... Sadly its going to make me a little more cautious when looking at Area51:Blacksite. Certainly the demo for that was much better than Hour of Victory...but damn with all the problems this game has you wonder what Midway is willing to "overlook" in the name of profits.

13 - I just don't get it...

You know that the developers have to be testing this game, and do they think that their game is good. Have they been playing the game saying "man, we're gonna sell a million copies". They gotta know that the game is crap before they ever release it, so I don't know why they go through with it. If I was running Midway, I'd say it would be better for the company to scratch the project and take the loss instead of releasing it and having my reputation tarnished.

developpers don't always have say in when a game is released. Like the article says, the game just looks unfinished. I blame the money grubbing Midway/xbox who rushed it. The idea of three different characters had some potential, but if your boss tells you he wants something done by 4pm today, you can expect it incomplete.

21 - I'm glad i didn't pick it up..

The day it was released.

I picked up OverLord and The Darkness instead. I've been playing OverLord every night since it's release and haven't even opened The darkness yet.

Sooner or later Hour of Victory will be in the $15.00 - $20.00 bin, with so many mixed reviews I won't pick it up till then....If ever.
