Microsoft Japan Giving Away Xbox 360 Games

From June 1st to August 31st, Microsoft Japan is just giving stuff away! Anyone in Japan who buys an Xbox 360 gets one free Xbox 360 Live Arcade game. Three lucky individuals will also win 100 free games. Count 'em: ONE HUNDRED. (Ninety-five currently released packaged titles and five Live Arcade games). 3 - Give them away...you can afford it Bill.

I think they could sell 360s for the price of a burger and they would still have problems shifting them in japan. They just prefer japanese consoles. Microsoft could make their next machine more powerful than deep thought with graphics so real you wouldn't know if you were playing a game or not and they would still rather have a DS.

But I do not agree buddy. Even though a few Japanese gamers do not see the value of the Xbox brand yet, the people there do respect hard work and perseverance. If they pull out now that would make M$ look weak.

Also what about the few hundred thousand current 360 owners over there? They would be left high and dry.....not cool..right. So I say M$ is on a good path for Japan and all it will take is good games to turn them around M$ has that covered.

but if you look at the numbers, they sold more units with the 360, than they did with the original, so even if they dont win, which they wont. they will get it better on the next console. They are trying everything out now, to see what works what needs improving and what is just impossible.

11 - Sorry Bladestar, MS has NOT succeeded.

They didn't garner any new developer support - they just moneyhatted a few, after that, they'll need to moneyhat more because Japanese exclusive games just don't sell on 360.

They've failed once again in Japan, and this truly is desperation. They will not gain new ground, in fact they're more likely to underperform Xbox1.

Poor advertising (whatswrongwithu!), poor game selection, Japanese inherent bias towards Japanese products (it's true) are all factors.

Japan is the second largest country after America as a video games market. If you don't have Japan, you'll NEVER have the world. PS2 almost outsold Xbox1 worldwide in Japan alone!!!

exactly its so cheap and no one still wants it..probaly heard about the red lights of death..enternal help the sales little bit but quickly went down..im sure its goin to make its way to the ps3 too..right now nintendo dominatin over there..but ps3 is japan true next gen system..and yes a price drop will help it out a lot..

and yet xbots really believe in their wittle hearts that their 3fixme has a chance against the PS3.

4 new games dropped this week alone , Darkness (which looks GREAT on the PS3),Harry Potter,Rainbow Six,Transformers. I got all but Harry Potter and next week it's Sigma.

It's only gonna get worse for the box from here on out. By this time next year we will be saying "told you so" when the PS3 passes up the 3fixme.
