The Xbox 360 Games of Summer 2007

Summer is said to be the worst time for gamers. The "summer drought," however, is a myth. Eyeballing the release calendar for summer (June 21-September 21) shows that there are several dozen games bound for stores in the next few months. And better still, many of these are quality titles. Don't expect to save your pennies this year -- summer is going to be big on Xbox 360. Just take a peek at our list of some of the biggest games on the horizon.

2 - I'd say IGN did a great job for not only the 360 lineup, but for pretty much every other console...

Kuddos for IGN for compiling this list. Indeed drtysouf21 Blue Dragon seems to be one hell of an RPG, possibly the greatest so far for the 360.

6 - Best lineup of the consoles

This lineup makes the PS3 and Wii look like they're not even trying. And this doesn't even mention what's coming out after summer is over.

6.1 - I disagree i think it looks great for PS3 and Xbox 360.

The Wii line up dose look like crap though. Not counting multi platform games. Out of the Xbox games I want Bioshock and Mass effect and maby Two-worlds. and of coarse halo 3 when it comes out. the PS3 looks about equal with Lair, Heavenly sword, and warhawk. and then FF13 when it comes out. in the end the summer line up looks great for PS3 and Xbox 360 Especially with the multiplatform games. Wii is still a crappy gimmick until I see some real games come out (supper Mario galaxy, and SSBB)

It's not a myth. September does not count as summer in my book. All the good games are coming out in the fall, AFTER I go back to school. :oP Don't know how these people expect me to get any work done and get a degree.

I'm def. looking forward to the RPGs. The graphics on Eternal Sonata look AMAZING... seriously looks like you're watching a high-quality, painted cartoon.

11 - Great list of games

I definitely will get Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, PGR 4. But what happened to Too Human on that list. According to Gamestop Too Human: Part 1 is scheduled For August.
