I did'nt know Ninja Gaiden 2 and Code Cronos had been announced for the Ps3 as well. Is this true?

@SuperSaiyan4 - I'm not dreaming, I was just wondering since I also thought they were 360 exclusives (at least timed ones). I can't get Sigma since I don't own a Ps3. Try to keep your head just a little less biased m8.

yes NG2 will be AMAZING .. in all terms .. AI , graphics .. and so on..

but its not RIGHT to say other cant beat him.. he speak like a Kid..

and NG2 is 360 exclusive right now.. perhaps they will make a remake for Ps3( may be better with more content like Sigma) after 6-12 month or more.. for sure they will do that if NGS sell well on this platform..

totally agree man. I am hyped for this now and now all I can think about is going back now and going to go play Ninja Gaiden. I never played it for my xbox, didn't even know it existed as I never looked online at gaming news. I hardly played any games. But my roommate had it and I tried it a few months back and it's unbelievably awesome, but ridiculously hard! Ok well yea I cant WAIT for NG2

The last interview a website had with him he said that people beleive that he has switched sides because he was doing NGS, however he said he was very much still a 360 supporter and that NG2 and DOA are still planned for the 360 only.

He's one of the few Japanense devlopers who really supports MS

Dont think I am taking sides but THIS GAME IS A 360 EXCLUSIVE, HE SAID THE REASON he even made sigma was becuase one of his assoc. wanted to give it a try and he said he didn't want to deny him that challenge, he wasn't the lead on porting sigma. 1. PS2 got "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty " then Xbox got "Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance " much later.

-So that effected sales of both game releases.

-Xbox360 - is establishing that Brand Name.(Look at game attach-rate and Sales)
-PS3 - Less confident in Sales but still Strong Brand Name.
-So, we will see how it effects Sales of SIGMA and NG2.

Since both games mentioned here, have made appearances on either consoles, then I'll make an Assumption, that eventually both consoles will get Team Ninja and Konami's next RENDITIONS. this is all based on what I posted at the top.

I believe once Installment-Base are all above 10+ million or more, Developers and Publishers will change their minds. Money, capitalism and Opportunity will take over with these Titles, unless I happen to be way off, for which, there is a high possibility..

So yeah I think NG2 will be a system seller..more great titles for 2008, even though I think Sony might have the bigger year.

If the sales still arent there to justify Team Ninja porting NG2 to the ps3, then they won't waste the time, because even porting takes time and money. Now porting Ninja Gaiden 1 (now sigma) to the ps3 isnt as expensive as porting NG2 would be because Ninja Gaiden Sigma is still a last generation game, with a few new features maybe and polished a little with the HD aspect. BTW, has anybody seen the horrible upscaling the ps3 does for ps2 games? It's better to just play those games like they are instead of the so called upscale. And to Vojkan, get your facts straight, Ninja Gaiden was a highly anticipated title on the original xbox and it did in fact sell well over a million copies. Now when Ninja Gaiden black came out, that may have been a different story, but really that was the same game only a hell of a lot harder, and with alot of gamers having already played the first NG, they, including myself felt no need to make essentially the same purchase. But Microsoft's sale are enough to secure some exclusives. But Sony, with sales dropping in some cases, a game studio have a tough choice to make, because even though you want to be loyal to Sony if you have always been loyal to them, you have to make a profit for the games you develop or all of your work is in vein. And if the ps3 dont garner enough sales to make this possible, then more once exclusive ps3 games, including MGS4 and Final Fantasy will make their way to the 360. Don't believe me? Check the patent office and look at another mysterious Final Fantasy XIII title, and Im not talking about the titles for the ps3 or for the one that is coming to the wii or ds.

The reasoning behind the lack of a Xbox 360 port/version is that Sigma was supposedly created to bring the Ninja Gaiden experience to players who've only had Sony PlayStation consoles. In order to not disappoint the large Xbox fan-base, Itagaki does reassure that they will continue supporting the Xbox 360 platform, and that they still have plans for it. He expounds:

We're taking new challenges on the Nintendo DS, and the same is true for the Xbox 360. In order to respond to our fans' expectations, we're always making sequels and new games

Right from an interview from him next time don't call me a liar, see how beyond sigma he makes no mention of the PS3, next time just don't speak.

And yes, how in the hell can you not enjoy a ninja game actually worth playing??? (and no, tenchu don't even come close to counting) I hope that Team Ninja has pushed the 360 to and beyond its limits! Because really, Team Ninja are one of the few who have a really advanced knowledge of the 360, so I have complete confidence that they will make other developers lose motivation after they've seen NG2...............I damn sure hope so! P.S. bring back some old ninja gaiden tunes..........remix them if you have to, but I need that music!

This guy is truly original! I hope they keep it exclusive, or at least develop it for one console and if they do decide multi-platform, just straight up port it.

I love the 360( even though it gets hotter than a b*tch) and I respect the variety of games possible on the ps3. TO the guy saying this is definatly coming to ps3 since NG's team loves working for the strongest console. You hae to remember that 360 has the graphical edge. The ps3 has the processing edge. Which does he want to work for. In the past, both were typically on the same console. The past graphically jugganuats were also the best at processing. This gen is completely unique to the gaming industry.

However, to say MGS4 could come to the 360 and then say there is no way this game could go to the ps3 is fanboyish..... take a look.

I saw that same interview where Itagaki specifically said that he is still a solely xbox supporter and that he let a younger guy "rookie" do sigma just because the "rookie" wanted to bring thee franchise to another audience. He said that while sigma will be good, he isnt working on it and that Ninja Gaiden 2 which he is working on is going to blow sigma out of the water.

Also I'm pretty sure Ninja Gaiden 2 will be exclusive to 360. Why? The same exact reason sigma is exclusive to ps3. There is no reason why tecmo would make sigma a ps3 exclusive except probably that the 360 will be getting an exclusive of its own. Luckily for 360 only owners that exclusive will be a full blown next gen sequel and judging by what Itagaki said is going to make sigma look like sh!t.

But whatever, I know 100% NG2 is coming to 360 so I'm happy. It's the sony fanboys who are worried on this one. If it does come to ps3 then so be it but I will bet anyone that the 360 will be the lead platform and will shine either way whether its multiplatform or not so its whatever.

At the 2006 Tokyo Game Show, the 1UP interviewed Itagaki and suggested the game will probably be an Xbox 360 exclusive. When asked about the probability of the gaming being released on other platforms (specifically the PS3) Itagaki responded "Hardly" explaining that Team Ninja is going to be very busy for the next 5 years. He also said - "...if you're working on a game like Ninja Gaiden 2, where it's really important that enemies are smart and challenging, then we might use up to two threads on AI." As if that weren't blatant enough, he was pressed about the game's existence. "I won't upset anybody by denying your expectations. I like to see people's expectations fulfilled."[2]

It was also mentioned that some DOA characters will appear, most notably Helena. Sadly, Itagaki also said that Rachel will not appear in NG2.

Don't confuse the interview TI had the other day with him saying he's focused on Next-gen hardware for new and exciting top franchises. He does say its 360 exclusive every once in a while theres actually about three more interviews with him saying its 360 exclusive but they're hard to find, he is careful about boasting about platform just incase he wants to make a port at the end of PS3's life or for the PS4 to trian his comrads etc.

some people just sound desperate. Itagaki helped develop some of the original software for the xbox, he's loyal to the system, and I can guarantee that this will be on the 360, and it will probably be exclusive.
