Makes me wonder if Halo3 trailer was made with Halo Wars engine/puppets? (I know it's pre-rendered)... if it is the same, why does Halo3 lack these stunning looks?

Anyhow, we all know Halo3 graphics are getting better compared to beta, unless bungie lies which I doubt, but I'm not happy if Halo Wars looks like this and Halo3 does not get up to this quality.

I'm buying it used. It's hard to believe the RTS developer would get the better models though.

It will become obvious Bungie is not showing anything near final product... I hope.

2.2 - there's a big difference between these and the halo 3 beta

These are dark... they have a sinister look to them while the halo 3 beta look almost happy. I predict that the halo 3 single player will set a high bar and be darker than the previous halos...
