TheSixthAxis: Borderlands Review

It feels like a shooter but there is no escaping the fact that it is essentially probability, maths and chance controlling the end results when pulling the trigger. The wow moments will come with the over-the-top gore but don't expect system breaking visuals. However, do expect a unique style and a long adventure that will better cater for those that like to "grind" through a game.

1 - 8 is too low IMHO
I just finished Borderlands last night. What a great game. So much better than your average, generic FPS... *cough* MW2 *cough*... Borderlands has a few technical issues but overall I would say it should fall somewhere in the 8.5 to 9 range. The masses seem to want generic shooters though, so that's what the developers will continue to give us for the most part. Oh well. Stupid humans.
