Frogger available on the Xbox Live Arcade

What better way to wake up than by playing some oldschool Frogger? Microsoft kept their promise and released the first game in their Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday program. For 400MP's you'll be able to enjoy Frogger with HD graphics and with Live functionality. Of course there's a free trial for those of you without MP's. Head over to Xbox.com for more info.

I don't understand why they made the frogger screen so small. It's pathetic compared to them being able to just fit any TV size from top to bottom.

4 - The verdict is......underwhelming!

Good effort, lousy execution. At the very least they should offer a stretch mode to fill the screen. The default setting is so small that it IS tough to see (I am on a 57 DLP). I had to go into the menu to expand it!

6 - To enjoy, do this

1) Hit start button when playing game, you can stretch out the screen to get a much better picture.

2) Play classic, not the new one. It's easier to see.

7 - Frogger bites -- NCAA 2006 demo is ON XBL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On my widescreen, its about 1/6 the screen. I need to try the stretch trick, but its not close to the original (which is why we'd buy it--nostalgia).. Oh well, the NCAA demo is NOW ON-LINE!!!! You can play as Florida or Fl. State with 1 min quarters-- seems very Madden-ish, not quite as responsive as the last gen versions, but the animations are sweet -- a definite purchase, already reserved.. gCM

8 - The Arcade

is looking better all the time and with the regular release schedule it will be endless fun picking up and playing the classics. Hopefully Capcom will release a few of their other classics to go with Street Fighter. I used to love Commando
