1.1 - You're a dumbasz
Dumbasz comment of a Sony F*ckboy. If it was done on the PS1 the backgrounds would be shaking uncontrollably and the mouths wouldn't be moving when they talked.
Don't doubt the art direction of Akira Toriyama! >:-O

2 - Anyways....
They should hurry up and relase this game ASAP. People in America are wanting to play this game!
For the closed minded gamer underneath me: Don't knock a game cuz you're not familiar with the art style. FYI Lego StarWars isn't an RPG.

3 - Looks amazing
Sakaguchi, Toriyama and Uetsmu are the best in the RPG Buisness. They made Square what it is and now they've left, Square has come up with rubbish like DoM, FFX, FFX-2, FFXII so hopefully Remnant and Revenant will both make up for their lack of decent games.
But Blue Dragon is looking seriously amazing. I've been watching the Anime, so I know quite a bit already, trust me when I say this game will own.

5 - Blue Dragon will sell!
Blue Dragon will see strong sales in North America, Europe and Australia. Many 360 owners are also rpg fans. This will be a must have game for a lot of people. I can't wait!

No pop-in, very stylized, and it looked responsive.

7 - Final Fantasy + Dragonball Z
I would have imported this game from Japan if it weren't region blocked. Definitely a game that I am going to purchase the day it is released. Final Fantasy VII was the very first game that I ever completed 100% and I am looking forward to doing the same with Blue Dragon.
The creators of Final Fantasy and the creator of Dragonball Z coming together to make a game. That is a dream come true. I love Nobuo Uematsu's music and Akira Toriyama's art in this game.
I really wish it would also be released for the PS3 though (even though it won't happen). That way I could have Blue Dragon, FFVII, FFXII, and FFXIII on the same console. That would be sweet.

Not trying to be rude or upset anyone here but this to me amounts to nothing more than a game of conkers - your turn my turn.It was fine once but how many more games that use this tired method do we have to endure.Eternal Sonata is similarly turn based but has a degree of real time to it making it feel like your not just waiting to be hit.Kotor also proved that combat systems don't need to be stuck in the middle ages. The game looks good though and will be lapped up , i only wish they would apply a little more thought to this stale method.Getting rid of an old system like this would not go down well i suppose.Didn't the latest FF employ an entirely different means to defeat enemies?.
And while it's just an opinion, i'm getting a little bored of the over the top style that is the japanese rpg.Over dramatic girls and boys with totaly exaggerated expressions and weird creatures , it's way too much sometimes and isn't subtle like it should be - when i was younger maybe but it's all a bit silly now.You don't ever get stuff like this from a Zelda , just quirky yet well placed and subtle characters designs - that i can take because they know the limit.I know japanese have this wacky design on all things but i'm staring to grow tired of it.There is a need for unusual design and the japanese are masters of design frankly ,but too much of something is just not a good thing.Anyway it's not all j rpg's i guess.
Lost odyssey on the other hand does look like something i would definitely play - even though it looks like it doesn't boast any revolutionary combat mechanics.

I think turn based is still valid and still fun. It has always been about numbers, stats and char building.
FFXII was an interesting diversion and proved to be just as fun (for me)as you become involved in the A.I as the strategy.
Realtime can add to the experience if you yearn for that kind of interaction but more than a few people like to play strategies and think about battles without having to be a whiz on the controller.
Its also hard taking pots, curing status afflictions, choosing and casting spells, throwing objects, healing party members and finding weaknesses in enemies when more realtime interaction is implemented.
There is room for both thankfully :)

10 - This will be a healthy move for XBOX 360.
Yeah I like turn based better the best rpgs ever made were all turn based FF 7 FF 8 Legend of Dragoon. So I like it better this way and plus I'd like to see more rpgs with the old turn base in the future. I think this will be good the guys running it know what their doing.

heh, most 6 year olds would prefer Gears nowadays mate :)
and plenty of older people like "these seemingly childish games" because looking at a game and playing it are two very different things.
If they added a chainsaw and blood, you would buy it I bet :)

The art style of this game is one of the best I have seen so far for the 360. I hope the game is going to be released with Japanese voices and English subtitles... I pretty much hate the English voices they add to Japanese games...
