Halo Waypoint confirmed for NNXE preview program

For those hoping to get selected for inclusion in the NNXE fall update preview program, the good news just keeps rolling in. Just days after revealing a new "News and More" channel (which we can confirm doles out MSNBC content like a champ), Microsoft today confirmed that the anticipated Halo Waypoint will in fact be included in the public beta test, well before it's November 5th release. What's that you say...huzzah?

it's not that hard to figure out is it, it's just like when you read all those articles about the " much anticipated Uncharted 2 "... who do you think are the people waiting for it.

By Halo fans. If I'm not mistaken the new Halo Anime and much more uses Way-Point and you will have access to the Halo Anime series before DVD and Blu-ray.

I'm a halo fan but I'm not anticipating this. Its nothing but Bungie.net on your 360. Makes it sound like some awesome new feature. And it was only announced like a few days. Much anticipated is not the word.

I guess you could call it a theme, but more than that it's a feature on live that'll give you access to a bunch of halo related stuff like news videos, stories, and probably the most appealing part will be the career system. Which, from the sounds of it, it's extra awards for completing milestones across all halo games that were released on the xbox 360.

It'll probably be simple at the start, but I can see this growing into something like a main hub for all halo games in the future.

Thats awesome love the sleek cleaness of it you should be able to apply over all themes to stuff like that not just a back ground, I like the halo look but I dont want halo pics or anything just the color scheme and lines etc

Hopefully this will improve the matchmaking System down the line I had just got halo 3 and i have to say the whole way its currently setup is kinda confusing if your a new person into the halo series

Ya if your not used to running through the menus they can be kinda daunting, because there are so many to choose from. Give it a week or so of good play and you'll find your comfort zone.

As for this feature being a hub for matchmaking, that would be stellar. o.0 maybe they'll work something out for Reach.
