Spaziogames Preview: Front Mission Evolved

Spaziogames: Several months before the release date still unconfirmed, Front Mission Evolved has already raised several doubts because of some rather strange decisions, made by the Japanese company so famous for Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, Square-Enix. On all, the decision to make the title a third-person shooter, ignoring the tactical approach of his predecessors and to entrust the development to the children of Double Helix, contested for the last Silent Hill - Homecoming.

1.2 - There is no typical "mech" shooter.
Not currently anyway. Just Armored Core and Chrome Hounds with the latter the best example of the specific "genera."

From the looks of it so far FME does nothing to improve on what CH did. IS nothing more than a regular generic network shooter with on the lamest of robotic sins. If they want to do it right they need to be showing stray shots chewing up buildings for a start.
