gamespot will probably review this later on in the week... they always review em near the end of the "mass reviews" storm... but they are almost always spot on... yeah it'll be intersting to see what they give it... but i think gt will be coming in soon though

look at it this way gt1 came out a wowed the crowd gt2 was just an improvment hence the lower review score, then gt3 came out on ps2 again wowing the crowds when gt 4 came out, again it was an improvment but didnt have the wow factor of the third game, the first games of gt on ps1 then ps2 wowed cause they done somthing noone had seen before but the folow ups are just improvments.

Forza 3 is simply a good game. I know that people don't want there to be any other competition in the face of Gran Turismo, but for the rest of the gaming population, Forza 3 will be a great alternative or companion (depending on your console ownership).

The only thing I could see that Forza 3 doesn't really overtly-capitalize on in comparison to its predecessor, is its graphics engine. Everything else is top-tier gaming bliss. Forza also has one of the best online integrations ever achieved in a console racing game, and a fanatical community to boot.

I disagreed with you due to the fact that you crap on a game with nothing but positive things be said about it. Your "opinion and studied predictions" may come from where exactly? What educated place warrants GT to be bad exactly?
Please we don't need crap being said for no reason. Gran Turismo going by track record previews and the features we can see will do just fine up against Forza, but i do agree that it will be close. But as i said in another comment GT has the uper hand by having 6 more months of dev time to see what the compatition did and try and match or beat that of forza. But it will be an uphill battle cause forza is kicking but :P
