First Fable II Episode available on Xbox Live for free

Lionhead has released Fable II Episode I on the Xbox Live Marketplace for free.

The full game will be released onto the marketplace in episodes, with the first one being available for free. There will be four more parts after this, which will be charged, but we aren't sure how much that will be at the moment.

1.1 - I'd LOVE to try it...
... but I never bothered picking it up due to all the DLC-stuff.

When a game announces it will be DLC-milking, I rather just wait a while till they release a GOTY-edition for a budget-price.

Right now the GOTY-edition with the DLC is out, so I will pick that up once it goes under the 30 euro mark. (Unless it takes too long and Fable 3 will almost be released, in which case I'll probably just skip Fable 2, and see how they'll handle Fable 3)

Not sure why they are releasing it in episodic content.. since 360 already lets you download full 360 games online =/

'eh I tried the DLC, but im fed up of fable II.
Got caught up in the hype, played (and loved the game to death).. and then i progressed in the story line and.. decided to never play the game after the dumb plot.

Back to Fable Lost Chapters <3.

Here's to hoping that fable III has a neat story

Damn. I read the headline and I shouted for joy. When it said "episode" I thought it meant the first downloadable content that was released ("See the Future"). I totally forgot about the re-release of the game in episodic form. I'm disappointed now, I was hoping to go and get "See the Future" for free, but I guess not.

I honestly thought Knothole Island was the first DLC.
