Diehard GameFAN: Need for Speed: Shift Preview

Need for Speed: Shift ships on September 15th for North America; considering that's also when NHL '10 drops, it's a good day to like EA games. Until then, sate yourselves with pictures from the event itself, as well as gameplay video of myself trying one of the more powerful cars. It shows some of the issues that come with controlling the more powerful cars, and also shows how cathartic aggressive driving can be.

Ok, this prob wont go down well, but just coming from the new forza 3 footage article i have to say I thought this game actually looked beter in the vid.

I am not saying that it's the better game, or even that it will ultimately be the better looking game.

my humble opinion though purely based on the last footage i saw.

I will be getting both and can't wait, I see this as the game to take up the pgr spot in my racing collection. pgr seems to have gone the way of the dodo.
