God of War: Collection Now Available for Pre-Order

This past week, Sony announced the re-release of the revered hits God of War, and God of War 2 together on a single Blu-Ray Disc. Each game will be remastered, and feature full trophy support. The God of War: Collection is now available for pre-order.

I already have these games, but I am buying this just for the trophy support, and because I really want to support this initiative, so hopefully Sony does this with other PS2 titles.

Next can we get Ico, and Shadow of the Colossus in preparation for The Last Guardian? Please?

I love how it's releasing same day as Modern Warfare 2.

Sev, can't wait until you get some screens for this. It will be interesting to compare the originals to it's upgrades. I wouldn't have minded if it was a straight port but now I'm curious what "Remastered" looks like!

This is great, giving the high def treatment to two of the greatest video games. Now the next one should be ICO and Shadow Of The Colossus collection, then Maybe a Twisted Metal Collection and Ratchet and Clank collection.

This makes me feel bad because I rented a ps2 to play this 2 games plus shadow of the colossus and ico.
and now they decide to sell an HD version of this games, not complaining they are awesome, I'm complaining I'll end up bankrupt.

Well, trophies arent my things except on games that I really like it... but since my 60GB model it kinda dead by now, my PS2 games are stuck on gaming library for a while unless Sony someday release the HIGHLY anticipate B/C via firmware. My God of War game are on that collection and before the game arrive next year I want experience some GoW love so why not give a try to this besides those are 720p without upscaling and blurriness.

Well, I believe God of War was able to be played in 480p, via component cables even back on the PS2. That looked pretty darn good IMO. It should look even more crisp.

Don't expect PS3 quality graphics though.
