The biggest gap is between the consoles and the PC. The 360 version looks closer to the PS3 version than to the PC version.

What i find odd is no one mentions the six axis control!? In non serious casual games i could seeing it being a decent way to wrangle and fun?

No one mentions it becuase honestly who even REMEMBERS it? Even the biggest of PS3 fanboys can admit the Sixaxis was a dumb idea that failed. Warhawk was the game to me that used it best and I remember back when the sixaxis was announced and showing Warhawk, I wanted the game JUST to try out the feature.

I was so excited for it. Finally get my PS3 and the game, turns out it sucks. Go figure. I've yet to see a game put it to good use and not just some tacked on feature where simple buttons could've done the trick.

I actually think Flower was the best use of sixaxis. The idea of using movement to control the game rather than button presses fits the games ethos so well. It just feels more natural.

i had lots of fun shooting arrows with six axis in heavenly sword, but i hated it in motorstorm. Not tried it in many other games. I dont think six axis is a failure, devs are just not implementing it right.

...I don't think the sixaxis is a failure. Games like Heavenly Sword, MGS4, Uncharted, Killzone 2, Siren:BC, LBP, inFamous, Flower, GTA4, Folklore and others use the sixaxis wonderfully. I even like it in Lair. It's basically just another button or 3D faux analog stick. When implemented sensibly it's awesome when tacked on to a games mechanics it reeks.

You're not supposed to enjoy the game. What the hell is wrong with you? You have to argue about the graphics and not enjoy the story or the completely genius dialogue each scene brings you.

this game could have been ultra terrible (movie liscense etc) but its really good fun with nice level design and fun controls, I even think the graphics are great. And I'm not even a big ghostbusters fan. Shame about the lazy ps3 conversion. But its times like this that makes you wonder if what Gabe says has some weight to it.

Get a 360 gamepad and then get this device :

It hooks on your pc then if the game supports the gamepad ( all game with the mention "games for windows" ) you will have rumble.

Its works great . I played and finished Wolverine on pc and it was a blast with the controler.

They don't beat it. It's clear from the pictures, and just common knowledge, that the PC version beats the other versions hands down. The author confirmed this when he said "Obviously, the graphics are the sharpest and the game smoothest on the PC". But Greg Miller is apparently an idiot and somehow decided to rate the other versions higher, despite his clear description of the PC version's superiority.

That's why I hate IGN head to heads. They are just so random and arbitrary. I much prefer the more technical and objective analyses done by other sites.

Doing the old "since the PS3 version is crap the game is crap too"-routine? It's classic. All you have are your exclusives since multiplat games are too crappy to be worthwhile to play on the PS3.

360 exclusives so far 2009: Star Ocean IV, Ninja Blade, Raiden Fighter Aces, Stoked, Velvet Assassin, Fallout 3 + GTA DLC, tons of XBLA titles such as The Maw, Dishwasher Samurai, Wallace & Gromit 1-3, Garou: Mark of the wolves, Banjo Tooie etc.

Just like last year MS releases their big guns in quarter 3&4.

Coming up: Forza 3, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Halo: ODST, Mass Effect 2, Crackdown 2, Raven Squad, 1 vs 100, Raiden IV, Tropico 3, Risen, Magnacarta 2, Dead Island, Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny, Blood Bowl, more GTA DLC, Raskulls and tons of other XBLA titles.

The PS3 has Uncharted 2, and PSN gets new games once every year. Whopee.

On Ghostbusters: I've completed the game and I thought it was awesome. Great story and especially great voice acting. And the gameplay is awesome too. Loved how you have to struggle to catch the ghosts, and all the hidden artifacts that are scattered everywhere. Once you get the slime gun the real fun begins though.

It is essentially the same game on any of the 3 platforms. If you have to have the multiplayer mode and trophies/achievements then get the PS3 or 360 version. If graphics are your most important criteria get the PC version.

Funny enough, all that stuff you mentioned can be enjoyed in the PS3 version as well. I know people that owned the PS3 version and were having fun with it before it was reported to look worse than the 360 version. Do you think that after they found out it looked worse it suddenly made them not able to enjoy it anymore? Likewise, does the fact that the PC version looks better than 360 version keep 360 fans up at night and prevent them from enjoying the game? I don't think so. It's the same game in any case.

The Fallout 3 DLC is not 360 exclusive since its on PC as well and is coming to the PS3 as confirmed by Bethesda. Most of those exclusives you mentioned are out are mediocre at best and the best exclusive not on PC as well coming out this year is Forza 3

ANYWAY, the difference between the PS3 and 360, from what I can tell, is solely graphical. Gameplay-wise, they seem to be completely identical, and the PS3 version runs fine.

So go ahead, enjoy your higher resolution. I'll be busy playing the PS3 version of "Ghostbusters" instead of "Count the Pixels". ;)
