That would actually be a smart thing to do. So far every other game has been doing just that. It helps devs/publishers get the most profit out of the game when its released on console first, then PC. Piracy is rampant among the pc gaming community.

Oh the irony. Alan Wake is looking to be another break-out, genre expanding victory exclusive and what do we hear?

"Oh, its taking a long time".
"Their will be a PC release weeks after Xbox 360".

The usual FUD trying to dampen the over-whelming positive buzz Alan Wake has.

One thing is certain: Alan Wake *looks* like it will be a GOTY contender, without a doubt.

where there's the open town of bright falls, and you can travel freely during the day, but at night the world is mainly linear, like the e3 demo, where you have mostly a set path.

Throughout the game the player will be finding the missing pages from Alan Wakes new manuscript, however not all the pages will be found through the normal game’s missions. Similar to how Bioshock handled it’s audio logs, Alan Wake will allow you to roam freely around looking for manuscript pages.

If somebody from Remedy really said that what makes you think its the PC version thats on top in a development sense? maybe after the PC tech demo from 4 years ago they stopped PC development and only focused on the 360 hardware and will later port the game to PC.

What a crybaby. Seriously, a pc port doesn't necessarily mean a "bad port" idiot. Gears PC > Gears xbox the only difference is the online community isn't/wasn't as big as xbox live.

sorry bud alan wake for the pc will be running on multi cores. if you take a look at the video ituse i7 chip at max. Console can't handle mutli cores. The 360 is a pretty much old machine.

"Even though Microsoft is publishing Alan Wake, Remedy still own all rights to the game and Alan Wake is planned to be only the beginning of the story. Remedy arn’t covering the fact that they want to expand out into other forms of media as well. Although Remedy have yet to make any decisions on this."

Alan Wake really has my attention. The real sense of risk really helps the psychological feel to it. Alan Wake is falling under the movies, Fight Club and Memento. The insomnia conditioned man and the ever so caring wife. Oh man, this game is going to be awesome!
