Get a force feedback wheel and you will be a sim fan for life. I love all racing games but IMHO nothing plays better then a sim racer on a good wheel. I play the GT series on a Logitech G25 but it wont work on the 360 so I just ordered the Fanatec Porsche 911 S and a new c0ckpit from Fanatec as well. I can't wait to get this set for when Forza 3 hits retail.

I might pick Forza 2 back up just to get use to the wheel and get reacquainted with the Forza series.

why is that so hard to believe. These are most likely taken from the photomode. Which i see no problem in using that because it will be in the game and the gamers can have their pics look that good. So please stop trying to sway people by saying they are bullshots, when they are not.

Same for GT, if they use their photomode shots, then i'm fine with that because it's ingame and not misrepresenting the game. As long as the gamer can get that same kind of gameplay and results, then there is no problem with it.

See, the problem is, many of you are PS3 fans and fans of GT who have never really played forza. If you check out the Forza 2 part of www.forzamotorsport.net website, you would see a lot of gamer pics that look amazing and it's all ingame photomode shots.

So as long as the gamer can do the same stuff, then i have no problem with the developer using that mode. I've taken pictures of my cars and they look awesome on the site. So please stop with all the misplaced negativity.

I've attached some pics from Forza 2 by a gamer known as "goingtoooofast", that's his gamertag. And he used photomode and that's how his pics came out. So, see what i mean, as long as the game is using ingame assets and nothing retouched then it's totally fine with me. I hope that explains where i'm coming from.

No kidding I left my PC showing the top screenshot, went out back grabbed a beer and drank it, came back in looked at my PC and was amazed when entering the room seeing that screenshot on my 25" PC screen (in 720p from the forza site.)

GT5 is definitely the O.G. on the scene, but anything we have seen of GT5 was most likely CGI so far. It's probably safe to say GT5 will look a lot like GT5 prologue. When you compare GT5 prologue and Forza3, at best they are equal in appearance, at worse depending on the screenshot, Forza3 looks superior.

I think GT5 will be a solid equal to Forza3 when it comes out, and that is only in graphics. Gameplay I think will go to Forza.

most of the shots that people post aren't from the game itself, and they're heavily touched up.

While GT might still hold in edge in terms of what the actual cars look like, the levels in forza are ahead of GT, the difference between the 2 racing games graphically is next to nothing imo.

GT looks absolutely amazing, but the game in motion isn't half as good looking as the photos. Even the gameplay from doesn't look nearly as good as the replay videos from the game.

Either way both games will be great.

Time for the disagreeers to come in a steal bubbles.

We can get an exact comparison of both games. Same cars, same positions, etc etc only then one can really say which is better.

While I'm not a big fan of Forza, Forza 3 looks good. Can't wait for both GT5 and Forza 3 comes out, then these comparisons will be so awesome.

I agree man, in my opinion the car models are about equal but I think Forza's environments look better, at least from what we've seen.

Forza 3's graphics are sick, but Forza truly stands out in features and physics. I think this game is going to get amazing reviews.

all your video's are showing to me is that gt uses sprite, 2d tree's, and there's a lot of white wash/simulated hdr and shiney cars.

the more I see actual gameplay from GT the less and less impressed I am by it.

Well the almoust 2 year old demo has no damage, that's why you can use a car to bump yourself through a turn and as for the grass, don't you know that GT5P offers the option for more advanced driving physics? I also see Forza 3 doing the same in the vid I posted, so I really don't know what you are talkin about. What should really concern you is that an almoust 2 years old demo still looks better and in the same time offers twice as many cars on the track than Forza.

I play GT5 prologue and i do that all the time.Funny thing is that, a stunt like that is impossible even in the 1st Forza talk less of Forza 2. In Forza 2, it's a guaranteed last position/death warrant if you try to use the grass to cut corners or bash you opponent to gain an advantage but in Gt5 prologue, it seems to be an advantage.

lol more cars is the only thing GT5 will have more than Forza, you will know this to be true when you see reviews. Gran Turismo won't have as many features as Forza...thats why there is 400 cars instead of 800....they are putting those people to work on online features/customization/auction house/autotuning/career features. Things that GT5 wont have.

Notice you said features and not content. You are right about features, Forza will probably offer more customization etc. and GT will probably like always have this stylistic and sterile menu and career design. But you are wrong about content and you are obviously mixing it up with features. GT will not have just more cars, but also much more tracks, stuff like Rally, Nascar and so many events that it will take you like a year to beat them all. You obviously did't play a full GT game if you think cars is the only thing GT5 will have more than Forza.
