I might be wrong, but I did notice that different cars have different paint jobs. If it is so then it'll be really awesome cuz I like cars with metallic paint job.

You can completely customize the cars look. You can add body kits, custom rims (paint the rims) add decals, lower the car, tint the windows, pretty much anything you want.

I had all but given up on track racing games until I saw this at E3. But I am glad to see that they were telling the truth about the graphics being better than what we already saw! This is now a must buy in my book! I still think the environments could look a bit better to match the phenomenal detail of the cars... but it is still early, and those could change as well.

Looking soooo perfect, even better than it did at E3, I think. What gonna push Forza over the edge is features/customization and physics. Though I think Splinter Cell, ODST and L4D2 will all be very good scoring games...I wouldn't doubt Forza 3 scoring possibly VERY well. I hope it really is as good as it sounds/looks.

First thing I'm going to do is build a Mitsubishi Evolution from the ground up. Its going to be the sickest Evo ever!

When viewing the screenshots as xboxygen.com, click the 'zoom' button in the lower left corner. Shows the full resolution. Some screenshots looked like they had jaggies when not zoomed so.

I disagree Forza is trying to achieve a dynamic lighting system not seen in racers. A overcast day will greatly change the look of the game and a cloudless day shows the glaring washed out vibrance you see in real life.

One game is trying to capture picture perfect visuals at all times unrealistically and the other mimics real to life lighting changes, picture perfect at all times -or- not.

The E3 build was *about 1* month old and the devs said just after E3 the game already looked better.

Forza 2 was like that they added and turned on stuf just weeks before launch(at the last minute) that made it seem builds ahead. I seen the dirt on paint feature was off in FZ3 at E3.

The GT5 cars have the highest amount of polys out of the GT games, they are 250,000 or 500,000 polys each car (I can't remember which is correct but they are twice the amount of GT4 models) it takes 3 to 6 months to do 1 car complete for GT5, where as before it was a week or a month.

Some how the Forza3 cars don't look as detailed as the GT5 cars they seem to be missing certain minor details, also the mags in Forza3 are poorly done they should be solid not see through.

I don't know what the poly count is on the Forza3 cars but I hacve a feeling they will be less than GT5 models.

GT5 uses an average of 200k Polygons per car Forza is between 150k - 220k polygons per car.

Developer mentioned that Forza 3 cars have 10X the polygon count of Forza 2(100,000)so yes, the cars in Forza 3 would have 1,000,000 polygon count @60fps nonetheless.

I 100% agree. when i can take a ferari in GT5P and it goes off the track at a very weak angle *1 being the hardest 5 being the easiest*.

the ferrari would go off the track at 30MHP on a lvl 4 corner. my 92 corolla can do that same corner in real life at over 70. so tell me how sim is GT5 going to be, not much.
