Choosing games on a budget in this day and age can be a tough decision, wanting to make sure the game you buy isn't the game you trade in after a couple of weeks. There's also the Xbox 360 first time buyers, with such a vast array of games now available on the Xbox 360, what do you choose?

This list is what I believe to be the Xbox's best exclusives available to purchase now in the shops and they can be bought for a very reasonable price. The list is in no particular order but they are all must haves.

1.2 - Lost Odyssey
The greatest Round Based RPG this whole generation. Square Enix didnt even come near with one of those RPGs they made exclusive for 360 to Lost Odyssey, great story, an awesome feeling while fighting and the soundtrack/atmosphere is blowing you away.

I would cut Halo 3 from this list, its just Halo in HD. Rather add Mass Effect.

Never played Halo, any of them, have no interest to ever play them. FPS in general aren't fun for me.

Race car games just aren't my thing at all.

Shoot, you need to pick Lost Odyssey back up. If you stopped without ever hitting a dream section, your missing out on one of its defining features. I would be playing it now but just found out that my Xbox 360 can't play discs anymore. I can only play Halo 3 and disc 1 of Lost Odyssey because those are the two I installed to my HD. Really pissed me when I was starting to play Crackdown and slowly saw textures beginning to muddy up and disappear all together until it froze. Oh well, at least it still plays some games.

Lost Odyssey was ok, but square never releases good rpgs until after the first final fantasy of the generation... they put all of their resources into it and then build other games of its engine.

@SpoonRedMage - Lost Odessey very nearly made the list, it was that or Forza 2 and Forza 2 was chosen in the end, due to the sheer depth of the game and Lost Odessey is barely worth a second play through imo apart from showing others awesome scenes within the game lol.

@Murderdolls - LO is fantastic and you should definitely give it another go, it's good at pulling on the heart strings!

@KionicWarlord222 - Out of interest, what would you of put in over others?

Samsung makes GREAT TVs and monitors. I have a Samsung 19" that I've been using now for 2 years on my pc, excellent colors.

For big screens, honestly you can't go wrong with any TV you buy...given that you're spending more than $1000 on it. NOBODY makes anything decent if you've just got pennies to buy it, lol. 1080p screens in general can be had for around $1000, but the features packed into the better ones make them WELL worth the extra dough.

dude...laptops??? i seriously wouldn't EVER buy a vaio. hp, toshiba, and dell make WAY better laptops. nobody can argue with that.

the list has only one rated E game.

all those games are great games, but they should've focused on making a list for each age group.

but i guess it's sorta true...if you have an xbox 360, you should have halo3. it's a given.

I have a mental list all ready to go when I get mine eventually, I know I'm missing out on some classic gaming, I have a PS3 and an i7 PC and I still can't play some of the ones I want. I can name more than 5 easy. I have a list of 5 games alone for XBL Arcade games I want. Ikaruga, Assault Heroes 1 & 2, Undertow, Omega 5, Perfect Dark 1 remake (when out).....then there's Fable 2, hell, I will even buy Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo, Banjo 3, Far Cry Instinct: Predator and Ace Combat 6. There's plenty there, and I and every true gamer can find something there.

whats the point of that post? They put on one halo game, and that was it. IMO halo is the only fps besides call of duty that is worth playing online, but pc fps are the ones to play online.

Interesting list. I'm not sure I agree with Forza 2 though. Hear me out, I'm not saying it's not a great game. But it's definitely not targeted at your average Xbox gamer. At least, _I_ wouldn't say that "every current and future Xbox gamer must play" it.

I still need to play Crackdown and Mass Effect (suspiciously missing from this list).

From this list I only really want to try Crackdown and take a crack at playing Gears of War 2 at least once. Halo I tried and not really my thing, though I'd add Lost Odyssey to the list as I've been dying to play that game...
