Console Monster writes: "Microsoft's Deal of the Week offer hasn't proved to be as successful as we would have hoped, but this week's deal has brought new faith to the offer with Gears of War 2's Combustible Map Pack receiving a price drop.

Xbox Live Gold members can now purchase the now 560 Microsoft Point map pack, a 240 Microsoft Point saving from its previous price tag of 800 Microsoft Points. Console Monster's Thomas Hostler reviewed the map pack earlier this year, giving the pack an astounding 88%. The offer applies till Sunday 14th June 2009..."
