Gears of War 2 "Dark Corners" Achievements

The achievement list for the new GOW2 DLC "Dark Corners" has been leaked although this is still yet to be made official it is almost certain to be the list after they were spotted at the "All Fronts" event.

I'm simply going to trade in my copy of Gears of War 2 and buy the All Fronts retail release which will still be cheaper even though I bought all the currently released DLC.

I remember reading that to that it was all just codes the All Fronts pack and I don't think it comes with Gears of War 2 either so I'd hold onto the disk.

I don't think anything has been confirmed. All I've read is speculation about exactly what the retail "All Fronts" pack will include. But I'm pretty confident it won't just be a new disc with the game plus DLC on it for the exact reason you described.

Kid, it was patched 3 times already.

Gears 2 scored higher than Killzone and Resistance....is the number 2 game in MLG only behind Halo....has more people playing it online than any PS3 game ever will, outsold Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 combined.

lol Gears 2 had some bad glitching but has been cleaned up since release.

The fact that the game had to be patched 3 time with almost wholesale changes being made to the multiplayer and it's ranking system, shows that many gamers dissatisfaction with the game's multiplayer wasn't unwarranted. The game shipped with a broken multiplayer.

iDystopia, honestly? I still don't think it is fixed. It only became playable earlier this year, even still though the game is still glitchy and and unbalanced.

I really want this game to work, i love the game when it works properly - but saying it has been fixed is a lie.

I've had ALOT more problems with Gears of war 2 than i did with Socom when it came out in europe (March 09). That, for a game that was ripped apart in reviews because of its problems - is saying alot.

I have to admit that the Gears 2 multiplayer is not that good due to lag and some glitches, but it is still really fun and I enjoy it. Though I enjoy Gears 1 better than Gears 2 in the multiplayer aspect. I think epic could still make a few changes. Like I hate it when I am matched up against 50's and 60's and I am the only level 25. They should balance that out so I am playing with people that have a similar rank.

3 patches and this game still doesn't work. It's broken in too many ways to count.
Yes it sold a million copies. Yes, I was a fool that bought it. That doesn't make this a good game. This game is the only game I know where you can walk right up to someone, put a shotgun in his ear, pull the trigger twice and not kill the the dude... Fix that! The next patch they put out should fix the game and not penalize gamers for dropping. The fact that they drop is a testament to the fact that people don't like what gears is cooking. When was the last time you played and one players didn't have twice as many kills as all the rest... could this be the host? Give the people what they want. A game that works. If you leave Call of Duty nobody cares. Why, because they design a game that works.
And what's up with there lobby. Worst Lobby ever! I can't count the hours I wasted waiting. There your 3 patches... Things that should of been fix before it was released.
Now you telling me they are selling more broken crap for this game. I bought the maps and they didn't even intergrade them into warzone. Why is there a vote for games. I'm pretty sure I know what I want to play. Crap, COD gives me like 15 different types of games to play.

Maybe the kid across the street was host or maybe your just that good. Or maybe everyone else had a bad connection and the host was a first time player.
Oh and how do you know you where not host. (chain saw trick) This crappy game doesn't give you bars like most games. Is that too much to ask for.

Why do you think there are no bars to check your connection. You know that's a touchy subject with Gears.

They don't want you to know who's hosting. They don't want you to see the crappy connection your rolling with.

Once again... COD shows you and if you don't like your connection, leave. It will take you 2 seconds to find another match and if you like it then stay in the lobby.

#1 when people are voting for maps, if you can see the vote count jump to 6 just as the last vote is tallied, you are host.

#2 at the end of the round if you are not dead, and can't melee with the B button, you are host

#3 if the timer just before the game starts flashes :00 twice, you are host

#4 for the last one its a bit harder, after playing for a few months i can tell by my players movement and by the delay of the shotgun against a wall

i can see why you don't like all the bullsh*t that goes on in a lot of games like the smoke-flop, two shotgun blasts to the back but no kill, lagswitchers, hosts with dung for a connection. i'm all for public rooms and connection bars too, but it doesn't look like its going to change
