The Raiden DLC sounds plenty believable to me, too. The MGS4 360 is the only thing that sounds too good, really. The author at least separated the two and made a point in why it would be likely that the 360 could see the announcement.

But I'm ready for some DLC. There's no way Konami is done with MGS4, yet.

@ below. Whose begging? Every site that reports these stories almost two years after the game was said to be exclusive. And your friends and you are not a barometer for the entire 360 landscape. If you and your buds don't want it, or had the means to buy a PS3 rather than bish about not getting the game on 360, then good for you guys. My comment was addressed to all the sites and people that continue to beg for MGS4 on 360 after almost two years has elapsed and we've been told countless times that the game is exclusive.

And most PS3 owners aren't begging for any of 360s games because there isn't anything that's exclusive to 360 that, at this point in time, most PS3 owners give two craps about coming to PS3. That includes Gears and Halo. There are just too many good exclusive games coming to PS3 to be concerned with 360's lineup. In fact, this is especially true because no one knows 360s lineup.

Every time some website or random blogger says MGS 360, it's 360 fans begging for it. Not a single 360 owner ever had a PS1 or PS2 (even though the best 1 is the first for NES). They've never played any Metal Gear games. Why would any of them want it?

You'll get MGS4 on Xbox when the Xbox 720 comes out...maybe. Naw scratch that. Anyone who has played through MGS4 knows it isn't just a matter of copying crap to multiple disks. It's a matter of what was on the blue ray that had to do with Sony, Playstation, and even iPod on it. I'm sure Microsoft wants to promote iPod in their game, support how awesome PS1 and PS2 were with the other MGS titles, and when the scene coming up with Otacon saying time to swith discs oh wait we are on the PS2 now comes up, Microsoft will just show a picture of a Mountain Dew can saying"Mountain dew is the best drink ever!"

As run on as that last sentence was you see the point I'm making I hope. If you ever gave 2 craps about the MGS series to begin with you'd have no problems spending the cash to get a PS3 to play it already. If you were one of the handicapped kids who bought a 360 thinking you were going to get all the bestest and awesomest game franchises you enjoyed back in PS2 and PS1 era on your new 360, then you are also completely baked out of your mind.

In short I personally know the new game is Boktai. So up yours hippies.

Sure you are right my friends and I are not a gauge of all 360 OWNERS, but you cannot make the generalization that all 360 fans are begging for this game.

By the way, I own MGS4 and a PS3.

I have said this a couple of times and i get a ton of disagrees but

1. MGS4 was not delayed on the PS3 like FF13.

2. And most importantly i know Kojima did the best he could with MGS4 with the timeframe he had on the PS3.

What i am saying is i don't mind at all if MGS4 goes to the x360 because of these two facts.

MGS4 is the greatest game ever and it deserves to sell the most. Hopeflly as well it will stop the trolls from playing down it greatness because it was not on their console.

it's not that 360 gamers are persistently reviving the questions wether IF or WHEN it will ever come true, it's the press that's asking these questions, it's the press that persistently asked 2k for word of bioshock possibly spreading to three versions, it was them that asked epic the same question. the press actually reserves the right for the ability to bring these questions about in any interview (whenever or ware ever)

and it's coming from the same people we receive our reviews from, IGN, 1up, Game spot, eurogamer, gametrailers,.....

I'm sure there would be changes. I wouldn't be surprsied if they made changes to the overall graphics even. I'm sure over the years they have figured out ways to make everything look better but had they applied those changes to the PS3 version it would have set them back and they wanted to get the game out with what they had.

I browse through a couple of different forums before I go to sleep. Never once have I saw any kind of fanboy (pc included) begging for mgs4. I myself have only played 20 minutes into mgs2 and that's the last time I touched the series. If it came to pc (when hell freezes over) I probably like most singleplayer games, wouldn't even torrent it.

There is only one game that is on 360 that I want on PS3. That game is not Halo, not Gears of War 1 or 2, but rather that game is Ninja Gaiden 2.

I am a true blue Ninja Gaiden fan. I loved it on the first Xbox. I am currently through playing through Sigma for the 4th time. This time on Master Ninja Mode (Respect my skills). For Ninja Gaiden 2 to not be on the PS3 really does hurt. Even though it looks a be not quite as good a Sigma, I still wish I could play it. If 360's were a bit more reliable I would go ahead and buy one for Ninja Gaiden 2.

But I still don't trust the 360, or rather, I trust the 360 to break after 1 year. So I sit back at par with the 360 users. They are jealous of us for having Metal Gear Solid 4, and I am jealous of them for having Ninja Gaiden 2.
