yeah it actually does... during matchmaking you usually get matched with people with the same exp levl as you...

which means if you're on lv 1 chances are you'll get paired with 4 guys also at lv 1 for a game mode like hoard (your best bet is they're all noobs and are JUST starting out their multiplayer experience) and usually ends with you pretty much fighting the hoard all alone by urself coz the rest really die fast....

but the higher level you reach the higher level people you get matched with in co op... so this immidiately increases your chances of having reliable teammates... other than those changes...theres the achievemnts to be earned too reaching from 1 to 100 levels you get about 50 g gamerscore...

Oh okay. Not having to play Horde with the guys who keep running into the laser gate seems like incentive enough to level up.
