You see the same photo's over and over again - nothing new ever comes out. For previews all you get is "Some guy swears he saw a bit of Alan Wake in Northern Canada! Look at this blurry shot from his cell phone!"

There were only 3 games on my 360 that I was looking forward to. Velvet Assassin was one, and based on the reviews I think I'll pass and maybe pick it up used one day, the Halo expansion and Alan Wake.
Until those two are released I don't even have a reason to turn on my 360 this year except I plan to finally go back and finish the Shivering Isles. Man I miss 2007. That was a good time to be a 360 gamer.

remedy is pretty much a team of 20 people not 100. Think about it, killzone 2 was workied on by about 140 people and it still took 4 years to make this great game. Remedy has been working on this game for close to 5 years and have a significantly smaller group. Yes they showed it too early but give them a break.

This isn't a preview. It's a rehash of info that has been available since 2005.

Please. "Wake" me up when there's actually new, concrete news about this game. And please make sure it's footage of the 360 version, not the PC version. Everyone knows the PC version will run just fine. The question remains how the 360 version will perform.

And I LOL at the people who fawn over Alan Wake then turn around and say "Huh...Heavy Rain. That looks boring. There's no action."

Im getting alan wake on my pc. i'd love to see some new non 2005 information.

Each and every single preview is based on absolutely nothing. So how again does that make my comment based on nothing, when it points out the fact that all of these previews aren't previews/first looks at all?

I've got the previews memorized since 2005.. "while we know absolutely nothing about the game its going to be a phenomenal gaming experience with bar raising visuals!" rinse and repeat. same exact writeup on 50 different blogs. Based on this i and everyone else could and have literally written the same exact thing and post it as 'news' since thats what the author did.

I know you hate to think that its multiplat, but it is. the 360 isn't more important than the 360 here, especially considering you've only seen PC footage. Don't come at me sideways, you'll just get your feelings hurt.

Alan wake has been speculated to be at e3 every single day of this generation.

This is the first time i've read anything about this game. I always read that something was great about it but the comment were very vague and so this article explained a lot to me.

Sounds like a good game but the being able to "explore 36 square miles plus the country side" makes it sound great. Not that there hasn't been bigger games but with the level of detail they claim it has makes it seem special. The story sounds good too.

I won't be picking up this title whenever it's released as i am a die hard fan of the PS3 and im not into pc gaming but i will say it sounds like a great new ip for you 360, mulitconsole and (possibly) gaming pc owners.

Because its garbage written on the same garbage that all of us lookign forward to the title have seen/read since 2005. They have no insight or no new information.

alan wake is a lineup that PC gamers and 360 gamers are interested in. Its not my fault all microsofts exclusives are exclusive on the PC As well. It would be easier for you and your insecurities if MS actually made interesting games like Alan Wake that were 'ONLY ON XBOX360'.

You're really treating this article like a toxic spill patrolling it or like the PR doing damage control trying to cover it up.

This is coming out for the 360 and windows platforms and its going to be a western Silent Hill type and there is nothing you can do about it. 20 people working on the game and has built a new engine all the while.

They were smart not showing much about the game after they impressed the media when it was revealed, the haters would have destroyed the game before it had a chance to even release.

Well, even though we don't know all that much about it and don't even know when it will be coming out, Alan Wake is still one of the games I am most excited about for the 360.

I chose to purchase the 360 because of Xbox Live and Gears/Halo. The 360 has so many great features, but you ignorant fanboys can't see past the length of your nose. I hope you are still bragging about all those "exclusives" when Modern Warfare 2, a MULTIPLAT game outsells ALL OF THEM.

This DX 9 game can't beat Crysis + alan wake is also DX10 but only for shader. With that you can't match it. Ya as far as I know, we have only seen screenshots and video of the game running on a computer with like 8GB of ram, and an overclocked 7.1 GHz processor, with the top of the line GPU. The game probably won't look much better than Mass Effect 2 on the 360.
