New screenshots of violent Warhammer-ish football game Blood Bowl show the game's star players, powerful units who appear especially talented at smashing faces.

On show are the high-kicking human Griff Oberwald, orc champion Varag Ghoul-Chewer, mohawked elf Jordell Freshbreeze and stompy minotaur Grashnak Blackhoof.

I remember Griff. We used to go spear fishing together back in the summer of '03, or was it '04. Anyway back then we didn't have spears to we used to use swordfish which we'd drugged with mouldy bananas. Those were the days...
