No zombie slashing party?

Gamefront read the new OXM magazine and have some terrible news. There will be no multiplayer option in Capcom's upcoming game Dead Rising. This still remains kind of a rumor because it's not officially confirmed by Capcom, but OXM is pretty reliable. This means no party at the mall with your friends trying to stay alive while hordes of undead mother-in-laws or annoying little brothers try to eat your juicy heart.

Besides this party pooping news I've got a couple of boxshots for the game. They Look pretty cool, but even these pictures won't cheer me up knowing that the game won't feature multiplayer slashing.

MP in a game like this is a no-brainer(no pun intended), IMO.

The SP is suppose to be very short, too. It better have TONS of replay value, or its a no-go for me.

Man,you know how hard it is to develop a multiplayer for a game like this, with all those zombies,AI stuff like that. It doesnt really matter that it has no multiplayer, it should still be fun non the less.

6 - This should be an interesting title...even without mp

I was on the fence with this one, but after watching some of the gameplay vids from E3 displaying the depth of the mall setting, I am really looking forward to this title. There is one store by the movie theater that contains the megaman outfit that the player can wear (gun and all)! Very cool indeed! I foresee entire playthroughs of simple exploration!

8 - ST KING CHEATS!!! (READ WY)

Ok i play The OUTFIT a good amount and never have seen this "KING" guy online. ok well today when the update caim out it fixed s othat people can jump in the same room with their friend and cheat to get gamerscore. I ended up in a room and I thoguht it was cool now I could play with this high gamerscore player well he kicks me so I went back and just asked If I could play with him and so he kicks me So then i relised after looking at hes gamercard that he was destroying this other player the same guy everytime. After about 5 games that i kept checking his gamercard I relised he was cheating ST KING plays games and he also cheats on them thats how he gets so much gamerscore hes got a bunch of buddys in his house playin off the same name all cheating geting achievments HE DOSE NOT DESERVE TO BE THOGUHT OF A GREAT GAMER!

P.S. If you read this ST KING your gamerscore dosent mean you can beat people online it just means you waste your time and your friends time on tryin to get high gamerscore
I would like to play you on CALL OF DUTY2 or THE OUTFIT and well see how mighty you are.

SP will be great also.

But now when I am thinking about it, it would be a great MP though slashing zombies together with friends.
