4 - Starting to look pretty polished!

I never played the original. For those who have- Is the racing similar to Project Gotham style (which I liked, by the way) or is it more of a sim with more customizing?

4.1 - More realistic than PGR...

In Forza, the amount of customization was almost overwhelming - tuning your car for each specific race - gearing, downforce, tire pressure, and maxing out horsepower, but keeping it under the specific race limits - like "under 400 horses"

The handling is realistic, and taking damage really affects handling - bang into a wall, and you will need to compensate for your car pulling to one side for the remainder of the race, and damage is subtracted from race earnings.

The only gripe was the cheap AI that would run you off the road in the last lap, near the end of the race. This happened way too much. - This dynamic is supposed to be improved in Forza 2.

If you like sims, you'll love this. If PGR is too close to a sim, then look elsewhere. This game is the antithesis of Burnout.

You can customize the experience through varoius 'driving aids' which makes the game easier to handle for beginners. I can't wait to swap drivetrains and engines on cars! Amazing!

Yeah, you can turn on traction control, ABS and a line on the track that helps you accelerate, brake and find the best line through a turn.
these things do make a huge difference - helping quite a bit!

6 - I want to know

what they're doing with the drivatar, One of the best features of forza was the drivatar, and it's be great to trade those online too. If you're a really good racer and you have an awesome drivatar you can sell it with your car, but have it locked to that car, people can pay you to race artifically for them. Man this game is going to be great, customization, inginuity, innovation, and realism, with good graphics, online, and a lot of cars to boot.

7 - STILL A LITTLE CARTOONIE TO ME :/

this game looks nice and everything but for some odd reason it still has a cartoonie look to it. this game has always looke good but never realistic to for some odd reason compared to what i saw from gthd now the cars and enviornments on that game looked damn good, and thats what i would love to see from the xbox360 because i know it's more than strong enough to duplicate graphics like that or better, but i just havent seen it yet in the race car games yet, why? i really dont know :/

Pics are old, you say cartoony have you seen the latest build video. It's easier to just wait and see, clearly the devs are playing jokes on the public so when the final game releases people will be saying wow how good this look vs a couple of weeks ago. All this show old pics as if they're new is to create hype. Who cares about GTHD it's a scraped game worked on futher to turn it into a interactive tech demo.

You can see in most of those pics many of the effects ect wher turned off. For all we know, we have not seen the game turned fully on yet due to the way MS and friends want to market Forza.

Remember the game is so advanced you don't know what your looking at, at any given time.

Cloud cover(dulling of color)

Cars get dirty(real time dust cover(dulling of effects and color of paint)

Lighting (pics can confuse real time lighting effects

Most of the pics are old with it's next-gen skin turned off.( working on gameplay before they worry about what the public thinks about the graphics they have said they have not turned everything on yet.

See the Pagani and the back ground. Also the paint on the Pagani would be dirty if they showed a pic later on in the race but clealy the pic above is either a later build or just has more stuff turned on. Don't see what you are talking about when you say that pic above looks cartoony clearly some of those pics are old or with stuff turmed off or both.

The one above Looks real to me full of realalistc light and color if anything GTHD is kind of dull and plasic like; the light in GTHD is like the world is under cloud cover in the sunlight, with pasted looking flat enviroments with dull color and weak lighting effects.
