Consoles just don't have the depth, the supply methods or base for MMO's. It's a PC genre that works due to the platforms advantages.

Focussing on a PC version and not releasing an unfinished game would have resulted in a better outcome.

AoC was a failure. They released a game that was not complete. End game (which is the meat of MMORPG's) was unfinished @ release.

They JUST released DX10 support. The PVP battles they touted was not even complete.

Funcom CFO just resigned because of this failure. They have combines many servers and lost most of the population back to WoW, or whatever else they are playing.

I was excited for this game. I followed it a long, long time... and it flopped at release. Tell me how this game isnt a joke?

Funny Sodapop, I work a full time job, I have a life outside of games... and yet I am still almost lvl 7 on my PSN. Last night I opened almost all of the chars on SF4. Kz2 is paided for and I own over 20 games for my PS3.

I still own NES, SNES, GENISIS, 3DO, NeoGeo, Atari, Odessy 2000, PS1, a gaming PC... but yeah. I dont play games.

I used to play this game. Unpatched on orignal content at lauch was 25 GB on PC. I belive its also unplayable with controller.

The game had alot of potential, it was good, but Funcom ruined it with bad patches, and also assked for paying people to test patches themselfs on testlive servers -.-

I wanted to play AoC on the PC and it was a disappointment. END OF STORY. Funcom will be out of business by the time its ready to release.

pennywise, stop being so bitter you own the least popular console with the worst games. you're only doing the inferior PS3 a disservice with your jealous posts.

it's not your fault that Gears of War 1 & 2 and Halo 3 are both ranked higher than KZ2. Doesn't mean you have to troll every 360 article. Be happy playing LBP with the other 15 people playing it online right now. And you can always pretend along with your Sony buddies on N4G that KZ2 is better than Gears or Halo even though the critics say otherwise..

graphically there should be no problem what so ever, I think it's just the abilities that would be tough to map. I mean in LOTRO I have 9 different attack abilities and 12 passive abilities. I think that's where the problem would be. As for AoC, I'll give it a chance for one month just to see how they translate to a console, from a PC. But I have my doubts about AoC, due to how poorly it seems to be doing so far on the PC.
