I already knew the RROD jokes were coming so none at this point are funny, but hendersonman got it off nice since I haven't heard that one. We need new 360 jokes cause the RROD ones are old and are just predictable.

All jokes aside it is a pretty sweet deal.

RE5 and an Elite for $399

not to mention they throw in SF2HDRemix for free.

MMM.... another desperate move from M$ to sell consoles... well we already see that M$ its getting a bundle in Australia with free Halo Wars, well i already have a Halo 3 edition and will not buy a second 360 not even with a weird red color :P / beside i will get RE5 to PS3 :D ...

8.1 - I suppose the Metal Gear PS3 was brilliant though.
Not to netion the countless PSP's in many colors and even with Darth Vaders mugshot on the side. None of these were desperate attempts, they were all very creative marketing.

See where I'm going with this? Personally I liked the Gun Metal PS3, but I also lke the Halo Edition Xbox 360 and the colbalt blue DS. The Resident Evil 360 looks pretty cool too. Just my opinion though.

Well im not worried, its ok that another people play RE5 (even if there its people that dont like it because its not like GeoW cuz you can run and shoot) i say i will buy it in playstation 3 cuz i have Resident evil 1 to 4 and outbreak 1 & 2 and code veronica in my PS system. and i say weird red cuz it will be better with a metalic red or a metalir red with black :D

Why bother? Last time Microsoft released a special edition console (see green Halo 3 console) they refused to replace them with another special edition the first got the RRoD (kinda gives the red console's color a kind of irony doesn't it?)?

I would be a nice change of scenery but in the long- run it would be a waste of money.

It's just red. WTF? There's like tons of colors avail here in Singapore for both X-Box 360 and PS3. Just pay an extra USD 8.50 + USD 2.50 for gloss or USD3.00 for metallic for whatever color you want and you just have to wait 1 hour or so to get it done.
