"Gears of War 2 is not just a "bigger and badder" version of the original Gears of War… it's a better Gears of War. Everything that was good, is now Great. Everything that might have been an lame or annoying is gone and to put icing on all of this, there are many intriguing story hooks and excellent monster design to make you go "WOW!" many many times."

WTF is up with this person submitting all these old ass reviews from this generic blog?

Can't find any current news to submit so they dig through the trash and find some months old blog about video games and try to get them submitted? LAME!!

The people who are approving this mess should be ashamed and have their contributor status revoked.

Game has been out over 3 months, Guess they needed the extra time to review the multi player, since it was only fixed a few a weeks ago.

gear of war 1 was much better overall experience.

ok, i know people who love gears 2... i also know quite a few people who have gone back to playing gears 1. I think that says it all.

i personally liked gears 1 more. gears 2 i could go on all day about why its not as good.

GamerPS360, pure crap. When it comes to gears of war..there is NO WAY the first one is better..the second one is seriously better in every way.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but your opinion sucks so much ass it's not even funny. Back up your arguments, better experience?

Gears of War 2 delivered brilliant graphics, solid gameplay, just as awesome co-op, addictive multiplayer etc. I agree with this review.

I mean, think about it..you can even play the old stages,with the flashback map pack. The graphics are better than gears 1, sound is better, more weapons, singplayer is longer and more action packed, basically..it is the SAME only BETTER in every way..how the hell can you say gears 1 is "better"? if you're not some uber hardcore e-sport gears 1 player who has married yourself with the gears 1 mechanics..I refuse to believe you, even then..it's only because of CHANGE. Not because it's better.

Are you serious? Gears of war 2 is such a terrible game, i mean if you were good at gears of war 1 you would know exactly what im talking about. Gears of war 2 is a totally different game and not only did they lose a fat number of their fanbase, but the beautiful originality in gears of war 1. If you ask me, i would say all they really should have done was just make DLC for Gears Of War 1 and give it major updates ya know? Not totally remake the game and ruin it.
