Halo Wars Demo Coming February 5th

Co-Optimus.com writes - "During Microsoft's CES press conference, President of Entertainment and Devices Division for Microsoft Robbie Bach, announced that Halo Wars would receive a demo on February 5th. Of course he said "Bungie" was going to make it available, not Ensemble. Oops.

There's no word on whether the demo would contain any co-op, multiplayer or skirmish modes - but we'll keep you informed."

1 - Let's hope the demo can convince consumers.
I'm looking forward to this game. Even if it isn't successful, it's a step to improving RTS titles on the console. Positive or negative, Halo Wars will help others improve their potential RTS titles in the future.

I have a wireless network and my 360 is in my entertainment center in my basement. My roommate's Wii is wireless, my PC's are wireless, and my PS3 is wireless, leaving my 360 the only system requiring ethernet. I could buy the Wi-Fi adapter, but I've been rather lazy and haven't worked up the initiative to drop the money on it yet.

I know wired connections are much more stable, but with the way I have my setup, it's not exactly a convenient option.

5.3 - I was thinking about going wireless with XBL as well
I have all of my 360's wired. I want to add wireless capabilities but the MS brand is pricey. Do you have to use the MS adapter or can you use any USB wireless adapter? If you can is one brand better then the other (compatible / reliable)?

XBL/PSN = BoodyBandit <-- if anyone wants to play some games online when you are not browsing N4G. Just let me know you are from N4G if you send me a friends request.

From all that i have read on this game, it's going to play a little more intuitively than a normal RTS - think more streetfighter and Halo fps, punching quick strategies out

I advise some of you folk to not simply overlook what i think is quite a different product than the one you think it's going to be

Providing this plays refreshingly well and is an excellent game, word of mouth could carry this quite far

A demo then is a good idea

Even though I love AOE i'm not expecting much from this game. Good or bad demo I still won't pick this up. I prefer RTS on PC not consoles.
