I think it is an alright news post, but it is basically giving stats about the game, which in turn may be what some people would like to read about. But as far as being important news I don't think this article falls in this category.

When a game as popular as this one is, starts losing momentum, it is important news. Especially with DLC coming around the corner. This could make things worse for T2 and M$

The Multi-player was the saving grace for GTA4..for me atleast...

.I still play it occasionally just to race once in awhile..but lets hope they get it right with GTA5...

4 - The multiplayer
Was really well done, but i can't enjoy it unless i'm playing with friends.

I remember playing with around 5 friends, we all got in helicopters and dominated in free roam.

Yeah, I hated the MP at first, but after a while I really got into it. It's not the kind of game you can just jump online and start blowing people away from the off. You really have to get used to it. That's why I think it's not as popular as it could've been. Really must jump online with it again soon.

GTa4 multiplayer was the s**t. Gta Race is awesome. I do agree thought that it can only be enjoyed with friends.

The only thing that held Gta 4 multiplayer from becoming the best multiplayer on consoles was the fact that there was auto-aim. I hated auto-aim. I turned getting into a car a death trap.

I AGREE!!! I loved the MP in this game, but the auto-aim loving noob hosts ruined it for me. Auto-Aim is fine with single player, but not vs. real people. Just takes the fun right out of it. Even a auto aim like Warhawk is bearable... but GTA autoaim was a no skill mess.

I hate Auto-aim with a passion, People in cars had such an unfair advantage it's what turned me away from the online. It just got really annoying for me.

Really? Saints Row is more innovative than GTA4. Really?

Since when is spraying poop on a city innovation.

GTA4 was very innovative. It was the first game to implement the new euphoria physics engine, it added a whole new cover mechanic to the game, the storyline and cut scenes were extemely well done.

Saints Row is just San Andreas if San Andreas sucked.

10 - Cause the online is...
pretty lame.
1. You have to wait for everyone to get "ready", lag is always an issue (360/PS3)

2. Killing someone seems to be a random occurrence, and the terrible aiming mechanic in the campaign is just as craptacular in multi-player BTW. Don't get me started on the Dualshock L1/R1 triggers.... *holds nose* Fighting games DS3 is great, FPS... not so much.

3. Matches are either way too long or way too short.

4. COD4 got it right when it forced people to play with some randomness... something that GTAIV online doesn't.

The list is endless, cause the multiplayer portion is a mess, but I guess it was just icing on the cake for an already massive game.
